News: It's a great help for us if you try out the alpha version (and the other builds) too. See if your problem disappears or the feature got implemented. Thank you!

files have a 'stalled' status and don't download
« on: April 07, 2011, 12:03:35 AM »
hi there when i add new downloads they all have a 'stalled' status and the only way i can get them to download is to click 'trackers' then next to the tracker (there's only one) it says 'invalid port' so i right click it and click 'force reannounce' and it stats up right away.. any ideas why? thanks

Leave only 1 simultaneous download task and wait.

Maybe your internet provider filtrate the bittorrent traffic?
Turn on encryption: Options - BitTorrent - Encryption mode - try Prefer encryption or Require encryption.
If you're behind a router the option UPnP must be enabled both on the router and the torrent client.

Just a friendly advise: If you think this is a bug please post to the bug tracker. The author rarely visits the forum, especially the 'windows' section.

Link to the bug tracker: https://bugs.launchpad.net/qbittorrent/

Invalid port... Are you tried to change the listening port?
