[SOLUTION] "Accept incoming connections" every time qBittorent is opened
I realise this topic is old :o but I finally found a solution to this annoying issue, which I've also been experiencing for a couple of years. It turns out the problem lies with the certificate system and keychain, and you can fix it by doing the following. Open a Terminal session (Applications > ...

Search not working via proxy in 3.3.4 (Linux only)
I have 3.3.4 on my Mac (El Capitan) and Windows 10 x64 boxes (qBittorrent x64 build). They are set with a SOCKS5 proxy, anonymous mode and 'disable connections not supported by the proxy' is enabled. Search works perfectly, which is great. I've noticed on OpenSUSE Leap, Fedora 23 and Ubuntu 16.04 (a...

Occasional 'extra' SSL port?
I run v3.2.3 (in this case sledge's latest Mac OS X build on Yosemite 10.10.4). The listening port is mapped to a single port and qBittorrent is bound to utun0 (VPN). The vast majority of the time things appear as expected, but occasionally an 'extra' port labelled TCP_SSL shows up in the logs. I do...

Re: Compiling latest qBittorrent with MacPorts package manager
Your 3.3.2 build wouldn't launch at all for me mate. It seems it's calling on specific libraries/dependencies in /opt rather than having them bundled in the package (I assume you got these via MacPorts or whatever). Thanks anyway, I know you must have spent some sweat on this! Also funny that 3.3.3 ...

Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.2.x
'Susp' sounds like the heuristics have flagged it as a potential problem, rather than a full on detection. Kaspersky 2015 (one of the best apps which intensely monitors system processes ect) didn't make a peep for me. Installed and working A-OK, thanks again for the fast builds!

Re: Update PPA
No problem. I see that today's new version (v.3.2.2) needs libtorrent-rasterbar 1.0.6 which you won't get in the Ubuntu repos. You'll need to download and compile a newer version of libtorrent-rasterbar before compiling qBittorrent. I'm running through it right now, so if there's any issues (changes...

Re: Update PPA
Yeah the PPA is very out of date, which is a shame. Mac releases are far behind, also. At present qBittorrent is pretty much a Windows client unless you know how to compile from source yourself (or want to run outdated software with known bugs). On Ubuntu it's quite easy to compile qBittorrent from ...
