Yes I did this... I even cleaned out all the préférence files before reinstalling... still same problem.

This problem is somewhat hard to reproduce because it doesn’t happen all the time...

I have a similar problem here on my Mac mini running Catalina.

I taught that it had something to do with my external drive going to sleep... so I installed an utility that prevents drives from sleeping... I still have the same problem. Everything else works fines besides qBittorrent on my Mac.

the only thing I see you could do is put a schedule to limit the speed to the minimum during the day... and put full speed at night.
