The update doesn't remove your downloads. Refere to my post on this forum titled "qbittorrent's Habit of Being Not Responding". If you are using 4.2.1, then I would recommend not to update as this version is by far the most stable one yet.

I tried this with my utorrent having 284 torrents and after import, opened qbittorrent and it became non-responsive. I started the app multiple times but every time it becomes non-responsive and stays like that for some time before closing on its own.
