Re: Default Directory For Automatic Torrent Management
I think I ran into this once before. It's worth a try I guess. I usually set QB to automatically load new torrents when I click on them. There is no dialog window that shows settings. I suspect most have this setting as well. This may fix your problem. Go to Preferences. Click on Download on the lef...

Re: Out of space
I recently ran into this issue. I click size to sort them from largest to smallest while in the completed status tab. I then highlight, using either the CTRL and left click or you can select a whole continuous section by highlighting one torrent, then moving to the last one one you want and click wh...

Re: Cleaning torrents based on plenty of other seeders
Those are good points. Most of my torrents are old. A lot of them have very few seeders. I try to keep any torrent I download just so others can get it too, and hopefully seed as well. Of the 3,800 or so torrents I have, almost 3,200 of them are complete. I have one that has a share ratio of over 1,...

Re: Auto shutdown after downloads completed
I'm not sure what you mean by the "nox" part but on mine, it is under Tools in the menu at the top. It's the bottom option 'on downloads done'. If by nox you mean you have no GUI, there is likely a config file option that you can edit. I looked in places I'd expect it to be but can't find ...

Cleaning torrents based on plenty of other seeders
Howdy, I'm running a little low on hard drive space. I put torrents on their own mount point. Linux user here. Anyway, currently have about 32TBs of space available but it is at about 90%. Right now, I can't budget a larger drive to replace a smaller one with. So, I need to make some room. There's t...

Re: Downloads files marked as 'do not download'.
Never mind. After about a dozen times of telling it not to download the files, it finally stopped. I just hope it doesn't start downloading again when I restart QB. It sure was stubborn about it tho. At least now I can share the good files of the torrent.

Downloads files marked as 'do not download'.
I have a rather large torrent that has a lot of files. Some I don't want downloaded. I unchecked the box to tell QB that I don't want those files. It still downloads them. I even right clicked and clicked 'do not download' under priority. Still, it downloads the files again. What do I have to do to ...

Re: Torrents with same name but different size files
I just ran into this again today. I have two torrents with the exact same name but some files are different. Both show 100% downloaded. Thing is, one is wrong. It took me a while to track down which torrent is the correct one. The sizes are close. The bad thing is, if someone tried to download the o...

Track IP of peer a torrent comes from
Howdy, I sometimes get a torrent that is bad. On occasion I can see the IP of the peer it is coming from and block it if I'm watching QB. I end up not being able to get that torrent if I've blocked that IP but if it is a bad torrent anyway, that is fine too. Is there a way to tell QB to track the IP...

Re: Torrents with same name but different size files
I've done similar to that for different reasons and while it changes what you see in QB, it does not change where QB puts the files or the file names. QB still does the same thing either way. My sequence is this. I start a torrent with the default name. Once the torrent download is complete and I've...

Torrents with same name but different size files
I was adding some torrents. I noticed that they have the exact same name. However, they are of different sizes. I'm trying to download a set of files, some file sizes vary tho, and am having trouble finding seeds. Qbittorent says they have never been complete. So, I keep adding until I find one that...

Re: New Search Site called TorrentProject
itorrents is different. It took me a minute since it doesn't have a search field to put hashes into. https://itorrents.org/torrent/replace-with-hash.torrent For it, you do have to have the hash already. It's really only to help add trackers to a torrent you already have. Just copy the hash and paste...

Re: New Search Site called TorrentProject
I've used the search feature of QB before and had little to no results. The only site that actually returns anything useful, solidtorrents. Everything else that is returned is either the wrong thing or doesn't add anything. I rarely use the search feature of QB anymore. It takes more time and effort...

Re: rarbg shutdown and removing their tracker URLs.
As a update, the site I found is not rarbg. It appears it is a fake someone put up. This is the url. www2.rarbggo.to This is why I couldn't find anything on the site coming back up.
For those who made use of rarbg, I'd be cautious of any site attempting to look like it.

Re: New Search Site called TorrentProject
Is this the site you are referring to? https://torrentproject.cc/ I went there and picked a random torrent to test. I clicked and it does a browser check and other annoying things but it did load and the torrent started downloading. The number of seeders on the webpage was higher than what I show in...
