Re: Problem with qbt autostart
UPDATE: I disabled the service I had previously created for the local user and created another for system. After reboot I added a torrent and it started to download without showing speed.Next I added another one stayed at stalled. Then I resarted qbt and both started downloading normally and speed ...

Re: Download blocked on Raspberry pi os, need suggestions to check
I've received my pi 5 and installed raspberry pi os bookworm, and of course my go to torrent client qbittorrent. Torrents don't seem to be working, even the standard Ubuntu torrent. All the trackers say not working or timed out. No peers found. Seems like some kind of firewall blocking - Pi has int...

Re: Seeding completed
Probably, you have set a seeding time or ratio limit.

Re: Problem with qbt autostart
Something weird is happening with killing the process. Sometimes command pkill qbittorrent-nox works from 1st execution. Sometimes it needs a 2nd time to execute. Sometimes it needs sudo. When I kill it from task manager it is being killed and it restarts by itself as I mentioned in the post above. ...

Re: Problem with qbt autostart
What do I need to do when any update is released? Just replace the file you use to run it now, with the new file downloaded from that Github project. There is no other steps, nothing to install. "Static" means everything is included in that one single big file. So I only need to run wget ...

Re: Problem with qbt autostart
First and foremost you can ignore most of this post. My question is: Why do you even run a full qBittorrent or the .AppImage? Why not use the -nox version that only has WebUI? You can use this project to grab a fully built, latest, -nox static build: https://github.com/userdocs/qbittorrent-nox-stat...

Re: Problem with qbt autostart
Eh, I would simply put a simple script in Crontab. Every reboot, just killall qBittorrent and once it's not running (wait with a while?) just start it. This feels like one of those things where I'd write a program to change values in a .CSV file. Spend like 5 hours on it. And if I did it by hand, i...

Problem with qbt autostart
Hi everyone, I have a nas debian vm with qbt/plex/samba(nothing complicated). When I set up the vm first time, I installed qbt native installation(latest stable version 4.5.2) and set it to autostart. Then I noticed that when I reboot the machine or a current outage takes place, qbt starts and torre...

Problem with cross seeding
There are some cases I am not able to cross seed. I'm talking about private trackers and identical torrents. So I already have downloaded a torrent from tracker A and want to cross seed it to tracker B. When I open the .torrent file I get the message "Torrent Name is already in the transfer lis...

Re: Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent
I'm planning to migrate from ut to qbt on windows and then copy the converted files to another linux machine. Will this work or should I directly copy to linux? Hi! You should use bt2qbt for move to Linux, because you will have different paths of yours downloads. If you just copy files there all wi...

Qbittorent doesn't start before login - debian
I have set up a debian vm as a media pc(qbt & plex) but I noticed that qbt doesn't run until I login to desktop or at least cannot access the webui from my win10 machine until I login debian user first. I have already added qbt to the startup applications in this vm. I would, also, prefer the us...
