Yeah, it's been a thing for a long time. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/How-to-use-portable-mode And they are adding a way to differentiate between the instances; you can add a new title in the title bar, etc. But it's only in the -git version yet, it's not in stable for now.
