Re: Hey there!

Before I get started, is it yet supported for Mac Big Sur latest patched version? Also, If you like me to do some QA tests for pre-release versions for Mac OS I can do that too ;D (for free!) I can build STP,STD doc's etc. Honestly, the project is in dire need of OS X devs in general. Having the M1...

Re: BSOD - 64 bit version > 4.2.1 or so?

Easy, remove Kaspersky, lol. I am sorry but its what it is. At some point, years ago, Avast was doing the same. Crashing apps left and right. Had to just switch for a while. Now I just use Bitdefender. But to be honest the stock Defender that comes with Win10 is already superb. I just did not like h...

Re: download queued, won't start, force resume does

Click Tracker tab on bottom once you selected an affected torrent and let us know what you see in "Status" column.
If it just says WORKING and it's still stuck, please check Execution Log, see if that gives you a clue.
Force resume just overrides queue limits.

Re: Hangs on "retrieving metadata" screen

Yeah it simply means you are passive. Most VPNs don't have port forwarding (including NordVPN). And SOCKS5 will also render you passive. These all will cause this. Mullvad/Windscribe does have port forwarding if you MUST use a VPN. ps.: no we don't endorse them, I use them, they work, etc.

Check OS X permissions. Like I think you can fine control what permissions you grant and such. I'd check that.

Re: Possible to configure skip slow seeds in favor of quicker ones?

Just simply set your queue to "-1" (unlimited). Just put 0 and then decrease and it becomes infinite. Just by "seeding" (if there is no speed), your PC, router, and bandwidth will not be taxed. Your client will simply refresh the tracker now and then, telling you that you are there to seed. That's p...

Re: BSOD - 64 bit version > 4.2.1 or so?

Whenever you get a BSOD, your memory is written out if you wait long enough. MEMORY.DMP is in C:\Windows\System32\ Just copy it out and then use that to debug the BSOD. 1) Install WinDBG preview from store, no need for the winsdk 2) Set symbol path to ms servers ( https://www.instructables.com/How-t...

Phew this is a very in-depth question and I am fairly sure, only the creator of libtorrent could shed some light on it.
