qBittorrent official forums

Hi.
I run version 4191 on windows 8.1. I don't use VPNs or anything like that.
Last week, I had to re-format my hard drive due to a nasty virus.

When I re-installed qBittorrent, I found that any torrent I chose, no matter its origin, would NOT connect to the swarm and would stay stalled at 0.0% .
I checked to make sure it had permissions for my firewall and my antivirus software.

Frankly, I remember having this problem years ago and that it had a simple solution. But I cant for the life of me remember what it was.
I'll probably do an epic facepalm when someone gives me the answer.

I'm NOT tech savvy so please keep it simple.

My old friend K555 gave me the fix!

Here it is: Got to Tools>Options>Connections and change the proxy server host address (which is probably set to 0.0.0) to the correct address which you can probably find in the log(mine was!), restart your PC and everything should work fine.

No facepalm because this WASNT the same problem I had years ago!
