qBittorrent official forums

When I try to install the new version it says that Qbittorrent is running and for me to close it. It isn't running so there's nothing I can do. I've tried several times. Is there a fix?

Maybe it's just minimized to tray or it got stuck closing down the process for some reason. You can try to terminate the process with task manager. Then the update should work.
