qBittorrent official forums

The qBittorrent project has released an official 4.0.3 build for macOS: https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php as such I won't be updating this thread with any unofficial builds. Glad to see they're doing official builds again!

This is an unofficial qbittorrent build for macOS. Compiled on 10.13.1 against qt 5.9.3. I have tested it only on my dev laptop for a few minutes, so I am almost certainly missing something here. Let me know if you have any issues.

This dmg is mounting, and qbittorrent 4.0.2 is working perfectly on emulated  imac14,2  @ Mac OS X 10.10.5 (it was still "Mac OS X", hehe)
Finally, an updated libtorrent in qb@Mac!
Noticeable upload speed differences!

I don't know if this is the appropriate thread, but I was using the 4.0.2 version bwright posted here, and just updated to the official 4.0.3 mac version.
qbt402 was opened, I closed it, replaced with the 4.0.3 and now the upload speeds became slow again (it was a problem for me with 3.x version).
Nothing was changed in my network or machine, it was just seconds since v4.0.2 was open...
The number of connected peers is really lower.

Is it a coincidence? What differences could exist from bwright's version to the official 4.0.3 that could create such a difference?
Thanks since now for any tips on investigating this.

With 4.0.3 the icon has been removed from the Menu Bar and the Dock now displays the icon with dl speed, annoyingly. How do I return this to normal. I cannot find options in the preferences.

Just an appendum to this thread ... it looks like downgrading to 4.0.2 fixes my IPv6 issue too ...

BTW, if an unofficial / bwhite version came out that supported libtorrent 1.1.6 ( specifically: fix IPv6 tracker announce issue ) ... that would be most cool too ... I see that 4.0.2 came out a couple of weeks before libtorrent 1.1.6 ...

Just an FYI, but this v4.0.2 still outshines the latest 4.1.1 ... I suspect a bug in libtorrent still, but whatever it is, I can't get 4.1.1 to work with IPv6/IPv4, while this v4.0.2 works "out of the box" ...
