No seeds where (I think) there should be.

Every new torrent I start shows zero seeds though I know over 100 seeds exists for each torrent.
Using Transmission, I started and completely downloaded 5 different torrents. Each torrent showed over 100 seeds apiece.
Immediately afterward, using qBittorrent, I started the same torrents, and each showed 0 seeds, with no downloading.

I attempted all the following fixes:
    Rebooted computer.
    Restarted qBittorrent app.
Confirmed qBittorrent app is listed in Firewall options, to "allow all incoming connections."
    Attempted downloading without VPN activated.
I did all the above several times.

Problem started 2 days ago.

I've got qBittorrent version 4.0.4
Mac OSX 10.13.3

Thanks in advance for your help.
