There's a way to iconify the program in the dock as the other torrent apps? Clicking on the red button close QBT.

Could be possible (in the next releases) to have the d/u infos on the dock icon?

Depends on Qt. Don't know if it supports this all. Maybe I'll check this up in the winter break.
(And I have to install an OSX VM too, as I have got no install available atm.)

OSX will install on standard Intel systems now (and AMD)? Now entirely abandoned PowerPC?

PowerPC been officially dead for years now, everything is Intel only at the moment.
