qBittorrent-nox embedded tracker

Post by aealvarez3 »

The embedded tracker is not working on the server running qBittorrent-nox. I have added
Advanced\trackerEnabled=true
and
Advanced\trackerPort=9000
to the
qBittorrent.conf
file. My server running the qB-nox on it can download other torrents. The problem comes when i make a torrent file and try and upload and seed it from my server running qB-nox. The issue is only with hosting a file on the qB-nox. I have other servers running the gui of qB and everything is running smoothly, my embedded tracker works and I can upload, seed and download files flawlessly. I am not sure if there is a specific way to start the qB-nox in order for it to recognize the embedded tracker. If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem is are a possible solution please share. Thanks in advance.

Did you put those under the [Preferences] section?

I don't know it should work.
Are you sure that you have forwarded the port from the router/firewall?

Im actually running it on a internal network of virtual machines. I have my selinux disabled and have my firewalls off. The message i get on the client side is
No route to host
I set it up the exact same way running the GUI and it worked flawlessly.

Can you try with the same qBittorrent.conf that the GUI creates?

Switching it with the gui conf file had no effect. My file still shows its seeding on the host side running nox but it still says "no route to host" on the client side thats trying to download the torrent.
