ORIGINAL POST BELOW

Here is a build of qBittorrent 3.4.0alpha sha1 b13c991f4b6 from git master with:
boost 1.60
libtorrent 1.0.8+git602dc02
qt: 5.6.0

Built using msvc2015

The master branch for now is basically what will become the next minor stable release aka v3.3.5.

You can see the changes from v3.3.4 below, but there is one change that needs attention. It is about the "Advanced Saving Management" or ASM. It is basically an overhaul of the old and simple labeling system.
Description can be found here and maybe here.

Please test ASM and report any issues on github, tagging glassez. You can do this by writing into the bug message:

Code: Select all

@glassez
Git changelog from v3.3.4.

Is it possible to add two filters on the left? (ASM enabled, ASM disabled)
This is like "download in seq. order" and "download first and last pieces first"...
When you have mixed selections (i.e. some torrents checked, some unchecked), highlighting multiple torrents, they won't appear on the context menu. You will have to do it one by one to find out which one has "enable ASM" checked and which one doesn't.
I see there will be auto relocation. If there is no progress being shown, then everything will be a mess.
I'll try to backup my current list and try it out when I have time. But I can already imagine a disaster when you have many torrents and they're all over 100gb in size... relocating is just crazy. I hope I am all wrong though.

Don't get me wrong. I really appreciate the time and effort all the developers spent on improving qbt. Thank you.

Stupid question but i cant find the download link for 3.4.0/3.3.5 in your post?
fosshub only serves me 3.3.4 ;x

If this is meant to be a "download it from github @ this change and build it urself" post then thank you!

I haven't messed with the advanced stuff yet, just normal use. Quite stable.

Qt 5.7 is out so I hope that fixes the graphics glitches.
