Using 3.3.7 (but may happen with older versions):
After finding a torrent, I choose 4 files to download, yet upon completion when I open the folder it looks like I download all 12 files. (uTorrent only shows the 4 files I downloaded). In the 1st image below I highlighted the 4 files I choose, but the ones I didn't want show as well.
The 2nd image shows what uTorrent downloads.
Is there a setting in qBittorent so that it doesn't show the files I didn't choose?

You can manually mark them as hidden files,if i remember correctly the older qbittorrent clients used to move those part files into a folder called .unwanted which was hidden.
It doesn't do that anymore, i dont know why. You also can delete them but if you start seeding/still have the torrent open in your client it will probably error and need to be force rechecked before it can actually start seeding as you'll have incomplete pieces.
