Update torrent file

firist of all thank you for all, everything is fantastic so far.
i have a doubt regarding "update torrent" functionality
I am attaching utorrent screenshot about this.
I was looking for this a couple of daysand i cant find it

What exactly does this do on uTorrent?
I am guessing this is "force recheck", however not sure.

it not force re check.
it merges the torrent if there are new files in the torrent.

uTorrent's "update torrent" is more like "find new torrent which contains these old files and/or new files with similar names"...
Just like the old torrent, only completely different! (hash-wise)

Vuze has "swarm merging" which may be of a similar nature:

I mention here why doing this "on the fly"/realtime is difficult to impossible:

but maybe, manual update torrent could be a solution.

Does "Update torrent file" even have a defined BitTorrent extension so it can be added to qBitTorrent?
Vague words alone don't work well with computers.
