Right io then! ... ... ...
« on: April 06, 2016, 06:32:44 PM »
I'm going back to being what you all think of as being 'patronising' and I consider as being precise and/or unambiguous.

I have tried treating everyone who asks a question as "adult" or "knowledgeable" with regards to their query and the result has been that I end up asking two or more questions with an aim to clarifying exactly what it is you are actually asking;

So let me reiterate:

I am NOT angry about anything at all!
I am NOT "attacking you"
I am NOT "insulting you"

I neither know you nor do I care about you, therefore I have no interest in hurting or placating your 'feelings',  Your question is merely a potentially interesting problem that may lead to added understanding of something. No emotion needed.

If you do not speak English (I'll will [grudgingly] include American in with English  ;) ) as a native language, then good on you for learning another language it is something that has always escaped me BUT if I correct your grammar or spelling, it is NOT being arrogant, 'picky' or 'looking down' on "Johnny Foreigner". English IS a difficult language to 'get', (fortunately for me I started learning it at a very early age) so I try to help here and there.
Honestly people, if you think there is a 'tone' to my posts, ... .... It's not me, ... ... It's you, because in the grand scheme of my particular existence you're not 'important' enough. Really guys, if I wanted to foster an argument with anyone and as a godless, heathen atheist,  I would go find a YouTuber Christian apologist and claim that "my god is better than your god", or maybe a 'creationist' or "Young Earth" claimant  or a "Flat Earther", a "Moon Landing hoax" proponent and debate evolution or physics with them, you know, something that really matters in the grand scheme of things, and if you think, or 'know' that I am wrong or misled in an assertion or proposition, then don't just tell me I am wrong, show me the qualified evidence that supports your case, and Wikipedia is not necessarily "qualified" evidence, but I am ALWAYS ready to accept that I am incorrect in the face of new information, but opinion counts for nothing.

I guess you needed to post that, right.
As if the thread linked in your signature isn't enough.

But, oh well, I'm over it.

// edit: Probably the best way not to get into any trouble with you is ignoring you. Is it that what you were saying?

No it's things like this:

https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topic,4208.0.html

I mean, really? Just HOW exactly is anybody going to be "helpful" to that question????

The ONLY honest answer is 'Probably', is it really my problem that that the question is utterly and totally meaningless, to which I can only provide an honest answer which is "It might be"

It's  a bit like asking "I had no post today, can you fix that so it won't happen again".

Provide a generic response like...
What are you doing to cause it to IO error?

IO errors are typically caused by file permission/access denied errors which are solved by running as admin
Or as simple as downloading 2 torrent with a file with the same name into the same folder simultaneously..
When those dont suit your use case, could you explain what you were doing when it error'd?
Aswell as ask a question he should have supplied the answer to initially, gets you more info and gives him something to try in the meantime.

Honestly though, the questions/info given here are alot better than some of the tickets i dealt with when working helpdesk a few years back..
"Hi can i access the medical records database from home?"
"How do i connect to the business internet to use netflix from home"
"Why cant i install <insert game application> on my secure work phone?"

Or just missing key information like
"My pc is broken fix it before lunch ends, im sending this from <firstname of person that matches 5+ records> pc because mine is broken.."
"I cant login to my computer because my account is disabled so im sending this from John Doe's ticket account my PC is on floor 2"

/e:
My personal favourites are the URGENT MESSAGES from our helpdesk telling me users are reporting their accounts as hacked when it was just their password expiring after 90days and them ignoring all the popup warnings about it for the last 2weeks.

I'm going back to being what you all think of as being 'patronising' and I consider as being precise and/or unambiguous.
So many syllables, i prefer the word rude.
I cant complain though, im rude aswell.

It's  a bit like asking "I had no post today, can you fix that so it won't happen again".
Why yes sir i can!

fyi the earth is round, its the moon thats really flat, re-incarnation is the correct religion because cats have 9 lives and everyone accepts this, the earth is pretty young comparatively to the sun, and the 1969 moon landing was real, the atmosphere in the moon lander is what caused the flag to wave in the breeze.

The curious thing is, and I've just posted this in the other thread, is that the only two places on the whole of the Internet where I do participate to claim I am rude, arrogant etc. etc. are both Bittorrent Client forums, which seems to suggest that it might just be some Bittorrent client users who have a perception problem.

I mean, really? Just HOW exactly is anybody going to be "helpful" to that question????

You sure have a point there. It is hard not to give a (more or less) 'stupid' answer to a stupid question indeed.
And sure it is up to you how to answer on such questions.
Yet the response won't be a nice one. Sure these forums are not a costumer service as EA has it, but still I think the community should offer their best at helping.
Of course no one needs to be friendly and no one has to use kind words to help someone with their problem, as no one should get salty or mad about one single reply, in the case that they are being helped.
Still I think, and I agree with KitKat, if the questioneer does not provide enough information, then we should ask them.
But finally it depends on the poster who asks for more information.
In your case, CiaoBaby, you don't necessarily need to do it (as it seems to me you're known for not always responding in the 'most nicest ways'), no one needs to do it.
If that helps is questionable, though.

Besides, I should remind myself that posting opinions on the internet... well, you get the gist. ;)

All I can be is intellectually and informationally honest, and to the question of "is there a fix" to an unknown problem, the ONLY truly honest answer is one of these; Saying "Yes, you need to do this" would be lying

Possibly, Maybe  or Probably. And those are in ascending order of likelihood, the fact you you found those answers unsatisfactory is entirely due to your question having no honest answer other than those, and hopefully you have now learned that to get good answers you need to ask a good question, and provide at the very least some information that allows us to help you. You have to appear at least slightly interested in finding a solution.

This is to the greater "you" not the personal "you".

What everybody needs to remember is that YOU are the one with the problem and we are ALL volunteers, so WHY should we spend our time in solving your problem when it appears that you could not even be bothered to search the forums and find out what we need to know from you so we can help you, you being lazy about your problem is not my problem, or anyone else's problem. Having to coax answers from you a little bit at a time is NOT productive and it wastes both YOUR time and ours.

Get over the fact that your problem is simply not that important to anyone else.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYAuR5bkIlQ
Honestly the most braindead questions i've ever read were on the steam community forums.
Shortly followed by the ticket list at the first helpdesk job i held.
Shortly followed by the paranoid comments/posts on utorrents forum site.
Shortly followed by slashdot/reddit computer threads.

/e: Honestly though, the only really pretentious thing you've done that i'd even call pretentious is making this vanity spam thread im currently posting in.
Been a cunt to people who ask dumb questions is always fun, but i personally save the been a cunt for after they've shown they're incapable of learning.
Eg
Q:"What OS do you use?"
A: "Whats that?"

OR

Q:"What OS do you use?"
A:"A personal fork of ubuntu where i took elements from....... and the GUI from.... then modified the kernel so i could.... and then ran it in a VM on a windows host system, ps qbittorent isnt running VM'd"

I wanted to say how right you are in many ways and well said.
I felt compelled to reply after reading. I also had a look at some of your other posts and perhaps could appreciate those too. So compliments on your sense of logic, seriousness / honesty, dedication or whatever - some of which I know haven't discovered yet and don't claim to know completely from this side of a screen in a comparably short space of time. Kudos also to others too if this sounds similar to them or their experience. And actually for them being able to reply short and not get too involved and leave others too it somewhat (it's a great skills/ability)

Unfortunately I wrote a lot - some I haven't included here. And it's still a lot. For that reason it may seem cut or mis-ordered. I did try to re-read and edit again. Writing short pieces is hard for me when it seems deserving or needed, I tend to go for longer writing and hope the person can round it up in their head well. It means I can make sure I get all the points in a sentence, show how I measured things and and balance the human sides of perception (saying what it's not for example). Longer regularly doesn't work and in my experience writing without similar recipients can increase branches of thought or perhaps people simply are not ready yet with short or long writing (it's not much difference). But with long there's more chance they get overloaded and can't handle it like a computer with low ram and in this case short is a bit better purely because of the tangents that don't come out of it or it more likely gets assumed as understood / ignored / overlooked (and maybe more cases). More writing, more more reactions and more pre-perceptions that further need more work (eek!) even though that can be good.
As this a fairly small thread I dare a bit and there points can be for reading with some tea... and possibly dinner. Actually I've found when writing anything those who can have self-reflection without reacting emotionally fast is a winner for all - again many people are not ready or know how - as this thread might suggest. [cut already!]

Main points:
- no offence intended, appreciate what you wrote in the thread: https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topic,4208.0.html
- what I say here refers to this thread and the thread above
- I have experience on a large help desk (60-80 calls a day) - this could also explain why going on this tangent (but could still be of benefit in many ways to Qb if I may call qBittorent that affectionately somewhat)

For you ciobaby (thanks for reading in case I don't say later)
- expect others to ask any type of question (you did reply 'probably' to the user at first, but also might also predict that any uncertainty or unclear remark in this reply would regularly result in the feeling the user had (which is not what they came there for or would want more of a certain answer from elsewhere / 2nd opinion or perhaps further questions to help them much like a doctor would- where a patient might not go in all guns blazing to blab everything until we know the doctor wants more info- and then start the kind of ping pong to a certain enjoyable climax- what a lovely doctor!).

- Another *main point* here is that you were sarcastic afterwards and that was an even worst mistake (I thought I'd leave that spelling for fun and reminder). An emotional response/classic error/school-boy error would be punishing the person with something like sarcasm.

- it seemed they didn't actually mean it as a 'dumb/stupid' (impractical) question and the amount of energy used in reply was more on your side so be aware of that (though didn't seem you went "all-in" but was still early days for this types of remark and could be restrain if possible in exchange for allowing other things)
Any sort of fighting fire-with-fire (stupid question with stupid question about what day of the week it is) is more damaging and less innocent
I feel I could even speak with the user you were talking to (mcb091687 with 7 or less posts at the time - clearly new) but I feel it's sometimes better knowing they will learn those lower-tier lessons faster than these higher-tier ones (if I can call it that with people who have the experience, knowledge and skill already but are not 'perfected' yet - so if I find a hole and I can pin down, with some work I can help plug it). I did write more so forgive this version.

- Couldn't help but put a few quoted sentences here. Please laugh or smile at least when reading:
Quote (read this as if it wasn't your own writing!)
"
So let's start the question and answer session:

So today is Wednesday, and question one is:
What version of qbittorrent?

Now you answer that one, then I will ask you another question and by Friday or so we MIGHT just have enough to guess what is the problem"

(Hehe, surely a bit of a mistake? Kind-of going to the other end of the spectrum acting with them like a sub-human way/like a dummy? Who wants that?
As bad than the initial user? (in my book worse but forgettable). Imagine someone higher up feeling like it's ok to do the same with us if we are not expecting something or as high as them in some way or.... not useful according to them! We would like to be told. Again even without going higher they had 7 or less posts here and so clearly kid gloves needed even as a precaution/feeler.
(not wanting to use them to justify your mistake but as an experienced person maybe it is comparable in lots of ways by skill/knowing better)

- OK it was funny for me and a vent for you (and hell... how many of us forget what day it is.... so don't blame someone if they end up thanking you for telling them what day it is! We all forget the day often enough and that's a 'simple' thing which shows we're very human - don't forget it!).

- It could have ended up seeding more of the same responses (or for people to allow themselves to grow those seed much like hype/negativity/turbulence does). Haven't we seen it almost everywhere arguing, fights, mini-fights, fuelling chat-backs back-chats, jump in's, combustion. And if you think about it, it's not needed or worthwhile (because you've had enough, we've probably had enough, we need other things to consume our time wmore worthwhile and growing)
(if in the past some it seems more negativity was in common with your discourse then consider some of the above an avoidable part of that. <---If that make sense)

I appreciate you mentioned immediately before the sarcasm part:
Quote
"I would have been far more helpful had you provided some useful information"

Maybe start this form from the beginning and even have a text file on ready for people like that. Start them from beginning of questioning basics if you feel it's taxing for you or send them a link to a page if it can be personal enough! You can make you're own page or website with common things and send it to people and slowly personalise it / making more universal. Use whatever it is to solve it eventually...
Feeling like it's taxing for you and shows through your writing - perhaps - I'll leave for you to think about it). We all need to breeze nicely through things (everything almost) or feel like wind is helping us without that bogged-down feeling or being chained to what we love... every day (starting with "great I love this" and ending with "oh man, more of this?". I deliberately didn't include this quoted line further up (even though it's to your credit and 'right' way) to reflect how it sounded - not to make you feel too bad - I can imagine you can now see you could have just left it at:

"I would have been far more helpful had you provided some useful information."
and then given example lines (pasted a text file of questions or page link to existing thread super-simplified for newbies)
or
say nothing if not in the best of moods/don't have time for 'newbs'/this kind of topic! No-one forces you to answer (all of them or many)... I hope!
"Don't give hate a chance" - Jamiroquai

- perhaps find another way to vent if it's a common thing with you and potentially a hole that needs plugging - if you do this regularly reflect why you feel you need to consume time in this way if you agree it only inflames and consistently gets your a similar circular 'stupid' result and perhaps even disconnects people from you (worse than the minor help you might do). It seemed in this case a disconnect, though it's up to the user too to stick with it. Maybe 70/30 responsibility (rough estimate, basically saying it's more on your side as 'expert'/'experienced person)

- There are many things that happen every day and all the time... and seemingly never finish, are never over... never-ending "OH GOD HELP US!!!" (small joke about how futile it can see reaching for God/the unknown as the last line of help) but pretty much all of this stems from beings being born/spawn every few seconds and them needing to catchup via 'us' and others - the existing people) and it's all about doing things with right method... and actually people use the bad or negative as it technically has more values (attributes) that stem from those things where as good has a kind of good end and doesn't need more. Negatives have benefits for those that want to take advantage, or are in control to manipulate those attributes, reactive and people based on the need and ties negativity and ignorance causes). If interested in which is basically attachment theory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attachment_theory - a good example seen in how they design the eco-system of superheroes (they need villains to exist and that my friend is a bit like how life is). See "Necessary Evil Super Villains Of DC Comics [2013]"  for constant examples of that.

- Part of the method of being less sensitive is also having other focuses or looking different ways regularly - also un-subscribing / not signing up to more! Not making it all your life - though it's also a great thing to do and no offence if it is your thing totally)

- Ok I wanted to focus on finishing and thought I'd say that now (intentions... ya!) ! You might have realised all this, moved on, or it might not be a common experience of yours or a big thing etc... so I lay it all out but definitely the sarcasm so early is a responsibility on your part :)
(stupid remarks show sometimes it's more of reaction than trained response or planned things and needs to tie back with existing focus or allowable energy/sanity consumption you agree with yourself)

- next point, about showing good practices (indirectly without explicitly telling people things) also radiates - and that's what I mean by indirect benefits or upgrades for people as our 'nice' or 'practical' ways reaches out (also handles negativity or unwanted stuff in long-runs) permeates and magnetises people or on their own ways they see/use the benefits in using (y)our way(s). In rare case they might even metamorphosis / upgrade themselves to new levels (I don't claim this is often and often is a direct result of all the indirect things in life - not just you but probably needs you and we all thank you indirectly!).

- It's important, looking from an advanced or expert point of view down at others somewhat, that all the while we are not too or condescending or distant from the pack of forum users, much like a marathon runner who is no longer able to talk/shout to those he is running with whilst trying to train them because he's went so far ahead or suddenly changed gear and found himself asking where is everyone). Forgetting what it was like to be a beginner (forgetting what was our 'stupid' and not remembering how we feel as a novice) makes it easier to disconnect from others (I think of stupid shit I've done and know laugh but it allows me t connect with 'bad' people) and not noting these things with these previous feelings how we felt may make us want to respond in other ways - and this shows how much of a gap there is between us. As a trainer, anyone who complains we can hear them better by remembering things or telling stories, and avoids us ignoring them and going too fast or far ahead (unless it's really to protect ourselves or current task at hand to cut them out). [cut - probably lost meaning in terms of the talking to you or in terms of the forum- sorry]

- ALMOST ANY EXCUSE making it easy for 'them' (or 'us) to feel they have an excuse to react, past logic or pre-filtered conscious response, is something we can try to help with towards solving so a level of mutual help in the long-run is achieved (looping back towards helping human being's in life I would say) although the 'Necessary Evil Super Villains Of DC Comics [2013] showed me well we're not aiming towards this 'mutual working and solutions' stage if I can call it that - and more keep ourselves employed part. In short a business that shuts up shop once the product is almost the best or the help has been completed (people being more self-sufficient/receiving the aid they needed)

- simply being able to reach a smaller constructive objectives (like getting the question right or not disconnecting) is a great achievement ...even if they or you don't know what the objectives are or the problem is yet. All very Mr. Miyagi but with too many words but he didn't need to talk much because he was on TV, and I could sit here looking wise... but see, that didn't help did it?)

List of perceptions:
- questions can be borderline-contemptual things / reply's can be borderline-back-stabs / tiredness affects / seeing the same shit every day affects.
All add to reacting to how we talk and we are tempted to use short-cuts or the minimum, instead of the other end of the spectrum like walking it all through with almost every single user who is genuinely interested to take things further (not just get the next episode of XYZ series). This could arguable be faster overall (difference being it's more demanding from creators/higher levels or we're not good enough as teachers yet). The shorter learning almost certainly trips us up in many ways or takes us longer. We also end up thinking we know what we have (or just using it) but really don't.
In terms of understanding each other (over the screen especially), it almost always needs needs a dozen 'what do you mean' questions to learn everything, and then replying (or not even needing reply because you already learnt what you needed to know).

- Am I 'just another one' in the queue? Feeling... [cut]  I'll write about in a book one day! Like maths: Conditions making it easy for reaction are like saying [feeling + excuse] = reaction
- constructive reply usually uses past logic or pre-filtered conscious time invested in response or understanding. Again, we might now know what the objective or solution is yet but we can fall back on something concrete (or trained) to work from there (a fall-back point or method) to get right up to speed again without thinking you've lost time, just found the way)

- I like to see experts in the field of people point the 'chink in the armour' to other experts (after asking if ok to point) to make a mini-game of making ourselves 'better'... like oh yeah cheers I never saw that or yeah I know about that people always tell me but I like it that way and my personality work better when it's on the left (all responses shouldn't be a problem if it can be heard well - agreed even when not agreed). [cut]
For users, this means not making a big scene. Helping each other in that way almost unnoticed/without big hoo-ha / who-are-ya / where you from / blame wrongs / rights (not that I am an expert etc but maybe I or anyone could act as expert here the points are of high enough calibre).
Levelling up. [cuts]

- A GOOD QUESTION FOR EVERYONE: "How many of us were trained on how to ask a question or self-clarify things (using self techniques) prior to communication or externalising things to others?"
Once you realise many haven't had this help or specific training it's no wonder XYZ...

[cuts]

- Basically major evolution needed and is happening - people have a lot of catching up to do (even me which I appreciate when pointed out), whether it's because technology so far ahead of us all (or so quick to be installed) and with non-existent training on top and even the lack-of-knowledge being taken advantage of until we realise!
- Society doesn't train us well and may even do worse / damage for our time learning. So it falls us on 'the good ones' to bare the burden (which we love in some ways and should bare in many ways knowing yeah it's not perfectly installed in the first place but we can take hold it properly later[?])
 - and also just it's just 'language' - the last 200years (guessing a figure mostly) when we began being better at- well everything (or even fully starting to express, develop ourselves properly, think on higher plains) so of course we're pretty novice, just discovering or just plain crap/unfocussed on some higher levels of 'screen' interaction. It's all so mixed and messed up (on and off screen) that it's almost nice and laughable to just get on with the plight (the acceptance from a help-desk worker / hospital stuff that it's already impossible but trying not to say it a lot - until the start messing with the whole system and cutting your pay check!)

- we have things like a great BB board and even people ahead of their own times so naturally the torrent world (mostly it's users) need their own time and levels improving (including training directly or indirectly with the non-technical / more human sides to almost all things around life.)
I seem to justify my writing here by feeling like all this will help prove less negativity by achieving less negative-reactions / less wanting to hurt people because we're feel charged and pissed off like angry mice (proved to react in set ways in conditions) and instead having ample time, taking time or simply helping themselves out of their holes).
Not the "spoilt brats with 100/1 internet who expect instant gratification" as KitKat mentions at the end of the thread on https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php/topic,4208.0.html. (sorry if it seems something by mentioning your username here KitKat - not trying to involve or use you in any extra way other than summarise the same finishing sentiment about how far we got and have still yet to go)

- I was going to mention about "Overkill, writing too much, too much detail" but I feel embarrassed I'm doing that now yup already there... but I hope you can see the funny side to this point too! I don't have plans to write more - probably best not reply or just PM me.

- Another point - when you wrote this (quoted below)...
quote:
"if I wanted to foster an argument with anyone and as a godless, heathen atheist,  I would go find a YouTuber Christian apologist and claim that "my god is better than your god", or maybe a 'creationist' or "Young Earth" claimant  or a "Flat Earther", a "Moon Landing hoax" proponent and debate evolution or physics with them, you know, something that really matters in the grand scheme of things, and"

...I just thought that was another opportunity to save yourself time - you could have avoided mentioning those things and does almost sound like your talking about some experience or something you don't like in others previously (and therefore not needed to go into so much detail about)...

...could have just started with your last sentence
quote:
"if you think, or 'know' that I am wrong or misled in an assertion or proposition, then don't just tell me I am wrong, show me the qualified evidence that supports that supports your case, and Wikipedia is not necessarily "qualified" evidence, but I am ALWAYS ready to accept that I am incorrect in the face of new information..."

- The last bit from your quote above, after the ... ends with
Quote
"but opinion counts for nothing."
I really think opinion doesn't count for 'nothing' (so it does count for something. I feel very sure of that in the sense that other people are the key to understanding or helping (even if they are wrong - they have benefits in upgrading themselves with 'us' or trigger us by using different words, sharpening our swords making systems better, and perfecting our techniques as 'good caretakers' in their processing (I hope but admit people take advantage and can only hope this type of training encourages for everyone to not take advantage and just get better and do it all for the love of it eventually really far down the line). Generally allowing us to update/enlighten their logic is a gift to us in wider sense.
On a human basis I also defend having an opinion in this way as a basic outlet for that person, mostly to signal flare to us directly and also avoid feelings being vented in less direct ways - the less straight-forward ways through the more unconscious ways - like feeling of hate for people or mess tiredness does indirectly to the rest of our life being busy eventually doing 'nothing' or never fixing the bad process, messing with our perceptions, seemingly magnifying problems, emotions - when all along it's these set underlying opinions / perceptions that need adjusting (everything will take care of itself from there)

- I'm graciously humble for problem in this manner and accept it's benefit from there-on-in! (that's assuming or hoping somewhat that people are not in it for dishonourable intentions by some form of permanently devious using the negatives)

OH YOU'RE FINISHED? (if you feel surprised you might be my next best friend - PM me any time!) I hope at least that my long writing didn't give the impression it wasn't there to make sense or to aim to cause offence etc - happy to take advice on it (I can tell you someone previously re-wrote one of my posts on some old forum ages ago and actually I really appreciated that and it helped me a lot / got point from just re-reading it!

(since it's a small thread / not many people inside I hope there is a less chance of 'waste(s) of time' happening and no major regret (that you don't voice via Private Message preferably so I can edit it)
Sometimes you just don't know until you try. Thanks for reading (and I think trying is part of the main part for most actions and I have respect for that whichever way you think or stand and whatever the quality or level the writing was.

Temporary stuff below while I figure where to put / what to do about it

PS 1
- I couldn't pass CAPTCHA many times (I read on the forum about the the 1000's of spammer's so I understand that's more of a priority / critical thing than me and 100's typing in the CAPTCHA again) - does a good job for the real users :)

+ the 2nd question - despite trying to reload and listen to CAPTCHA and typing correctly 'qbitorrent'; the combination of both these things I think is a potential user killer! "What's the project called? I really thought it might have been something different even with the amount of double-checking of both questions I did. I wonder how many others thought the project name different too! I listened to the image and everything... I searched and saw others questioning the same thing about the project name - but to my surprised there wasn't a whole big section on that - Only 7 results on quick search of exact question - I'm guessing a lot were delete or unasked :)  thankfully on sign up it gave me another 2nd question which seemed to work instantly after that....  ::) I'll put it down to me having screen blindness. But yeah, was a big deal for me not being able to get in!
(Activating my account wouldn't have as possible on my own without the 2nd question... or asking)

SIDE POINT OF MY EXPERIENCE: Maybe check inactivated accounts - could be SOME people who gave up!

PS 2
Nice work putting the news 'News' in the top right of the forum (under the search bar)... I was going to ask more about that (and how to see all the tips)... but for now I've wrote this and reloaded the page until I saw the all the news & tips :) Perhaps a good idea is to putting a 'see all' link there to will help us all learn things before asking them(!) Maybe in some order on the page could be good for newbies and random is good for the top right.
It's a bonus if you modify this 'now' so I can delete this kind-of-self-reminder!

Appreciate the is long and can only can 'bit by bit' is one of the ways that has served me well and finding a way to convince yourself how useful and insightful this must be or might be - and even skimming through it a bit to make sure it's not total crap :) I did write in there cups or tea and maybe dinner would help read this, and there's many other techniques but I'm not going to give all my secrets to long reading now (I've wrote about that elsewhere) ;) and better to assume you know most already and know how to consume and motivate since it can also be about the other type of wall (mental wall / motivation / methodology / remembering to resume sections etc).

I hear the kettle is ready...  8)
