Updating or restarting qB loses tracker and category labels
« on: March 20, 2017, 12:47:58 AM »
Updating qB is always a hassle. When I updated to 3.3.11, the majority of torrents I was seeding had lost their tracker label. When I check them individually, I can see which tracker they belong to, but I can't find all torrents under a tracker using the option in the sidebar. The same is true for categories. I had several categories emptied when I updated, and even when I recategorized several torrents, they lost their category label once I exited and then restarted my client.

Is there a way to undo, stop, or fix this? More generally, is there a way to backup or save my client metadata before update or restart? TIA.

I'm using v3.3.11 on Windows 10 x64.

Edit: Maybe this is a bug and I shouldn't post the issue here? I'm not sure what's going on regardless, but I would like any practical advice as how I can fix this in the relatively short-term.

If they're the same as yours, then add a comment or whatever, so they know it's reproducible.
If not the same, then create a new one. Or use the search yourself. I didn't have much time to search.
