qbit has begun to crash quite a lot.
« on: December 22, 2017, 04:17:08 PM »
Running 4.0.3 and the previous version did it as well, but it crashes once or twice a day. I'm running it on server 2012 r2 64bit. And it's running 24/7, but with the newer versions it gives some i/o errors for no reason and then seem to crash, but i'm not monitoring the crash as it happens while i'm at work or during the night. So i'm not sure if the two are related.

I've noticed the same thing - more than 2 crashes per day for the first time ever.
I'll try revering to 4.0.2 until 4.0.4 comes out, though I don't like running old versions.

And the i/o errors comes for no reason, the torrent it claims have i/o errors is just fine, after qbit has crashed and restarted the same torrent reseeds without issues without having to recheck files.

3.4.0 beta 2 is not bad, but unsure if it will fix your issues?

I would check the HDDs with "smartmontools", check the ram with memtest86. Something is weird. Also check the Event log.
