Moving torrents from windows to linux
« on: September 05, 2018, 09:54:21 PM »
I have qBittorrent both on my windows and linux which is a dual boot currently. I want to move all of the torrents to Linux. What I already did:
I came across this 2 topics
https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php?topic=3925.0
https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php?topic=2006.0

The first one doesn't seem to work for people in the thread, I did not tried it, since I don't want to download C# on linux.
It's a little bit trickier for me than for the person from second thread. I did copied the BT_BACKUP from my windows to ~.local/share/data/qBittorrent/BT_backup/
But it obviously search for the files in windows like directories. The problem is that I need to globally change the path on all of the torrents, so for example if it was for D:\programs I need to change it to /media/username/programs/
Any idea on how to do it?

Okay, I don't know if what I did is really stupid or no, but I rewrote all of the fastresume files to right destination with a python script.
All of the files is now downloading rather than errored and have status paused, although I am not 100% sure they was errored, now that I think about it.
