Windows / How to resume torrent downloads started by utorrent?
« Last post by pstein on Today at 07:01:57 AM »
Assume I started some big (> 10GB) torrent downloads in an uTorrent installation.
Since the torrent source is not always available the download could last for days or even weeks until they are finished.
Now I decide to exit utorrent and resume the downloads with qBittorrent.

In order not to loose the already downloaded data I  need a way to tell qbittorrent where to find the torrents files
and to re-use the local, partially existing content.

How can I achieve this?

The topic will be erased soon.
Windows / ShowRSS Not Downloading All Files
« Last post by BeastOfBurden on October 16, 2018, 06:08:53 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm new here but not new to qBitTorrent.  I use ShowRSS to download my nightly TV Shows.  On average I download anywhere from 2 show to 8 shows per night.  On the nights that I only download 2 or 3 TV Shows it works perfectly.  But when it downloads more than 3 TV shows it does not download all of the shows.  You can see the files in qBitTottent RSS  feeds but not marked as read.  I have to manually download them.  Can someone please help me out...
Windows / interface look?

Is it just me or the Downloads section of Options looks messy as hell:
So many frames inside 'File system' part, so everything looks messy and it's easy to get lost in all those frames...
What do you think?

Hi everyone.

I just installed qBittorrent via a Docker Image on Ubuntu.

When i try to add a torrent from another Docker image the following is logged in qbittorrent.log

"  is not a valid IP address and was rejected while applying the list of banned addresses"

Any idea why my IP is rejected or how to turn of this check?

Kind regards
Windows / I'd like to use qBittorent on two Windows account
« Last post by nincshalozat on October 15, 2018, 06:35:37 PM »
Hi guys,
I have two Windows' accounts. I'd like to use qBittorent on each of them.  But after I installed the software, practically two separate apps were created because the software uses the folders in C:\Users\ACCOUNT\AppData\... to store its own settings. I'd like to have this app to run on each account side by side. Now if I add a torrent on one of them it doesn't appear on the other one.
Thanks for your help!

qBitTorrent devs seem tied up on core features crapping out.

I don't know if there's ANYBODY doing RSS feed work beyond making sure it doesn't explode on compiling.
