Windows / Is the 64-bit installation recommended?
« on: July 03, 2018, 03:58:11 pm »
How much is the increase in memory usage? do I have to remove my old 32 bit version before installing or will the installer do it itself

Sometimes the URL's don't have names or are just incorrect or I need them to be more specific.

Tried to reproduced, and it also happened to me.

After upgrading to 4.0.2 some torrents seem to be missing their part file, sometimes giving me an I/O error.

This of course leads to re-downloading the torrent if I recheck, it keeps coming up randomly.
the .parts file was left or is maybe the torrent at this point I don't know.

Thank you

How would I archive this, I mostly have tags and auto torrent management, would changing the default path be enough? I am mainly asking because I don't want to mess up my library completely.

Must Contain: EZT|GRE Longhot
Must not Contain: 720p 1080p

Filter should only display files that are

EZT Longhot
GRE Longhot

Correct? well in my case it seems that other files made by EZT are being matched on my feed (e.g; EZT Tortilla)

Is there a way to make it a MUST for qbit to match the name longhot? I've tried adding *longhot, *longhot*,longhot* and the other symbols but either the matching is way off or nothing really happens.

All I really want is for it to match any torrents containing either ezt or gre and the series name

GRE Longhot|EZT Longhot

Copying your settings in appdata local and roaming will probably work, do test before anything on a VM or anything else.

basically title, would like to know if it has happen to anyone else.

But wait... it rechecks when you add and if it finds the files...
Am I missing something here? Oo
No it starts downloading than torrent and IF the files are the same it starts rechecking, so for example, if a file or the folder of the torrent is incorrect, it will start downloading instead of rechecking.

1. Download Torrent > add > files have the same name/size > starts rechecking, downloads if there is missing files
2. Download torrent > add > some files have the wrong name  or wrong folder name/structure > it starts downloading.

What I am asking for is for the torrent to ONLY to start IF the recheck was successful, hopefully that explains it better?

Basically what the titles, of course do not start if recheck wasn't successful.

The tracker software is incredibly dumb. The reason you can add it twice is just simply because the torrent was simply re-created. They get it from site X, open their client or libtorrent and create a new torrent and then upload it to site Y.

This only creates extra work with no benefit. It's just another weird quirk of the p2p community.

Well, according to the mods it is consider ratio cheating.
What's the best way to upload from site x to site y while creating a new torrent for site y?

Why can't you add certain files you want to be in a .torrent instead of a folder?

As of right you can only choose ONE file or an entire directory (unless I am incorrect), but what if I want to make a torrent of certain files and not a whole directory?

Maybe they uploaded the very-same torrent?
In this case, what if you just add the other tracker into the tracker list?

(The torrent only changes physically if the piece size is different or if it was made with a different libtorrent, etc.)
It seems to be working (seeds/downloaded and status) but I wonder if this can get me in trouble with the site.

Would send you one if you lived in the same country.
