Suggestions / Move completed torrents to..
« on: March 07, 2018, 08:36:30 am »
Any chance of getting a 'move completed torrents to" option like uTorrent has? I like to download to my local drive for performance reasons and move to a dedicated torrent hosting drive when completed.

I'm now aware I can do this with the 'run an external program on torrent completion' although the above would still be nice.

Also, why do I have to select a file within the torrent with left click in the tick box first to be able to change it's priority? I should just right click on a file within the torrent and set priority it hardly clutters things, you can do it this simply within uTorrent.

I've downloaded a torrent fully and setting the location to another drive is not moving it.

Doing this under uTorrent would say "moving" and do so, but qbittorrent is doing nothing. If I open file location it just opens the old location. =/

I've moved the files manually now, I tried to set location to it directly, I click recheck and nothing happens.
If I click set location and the directory that the torrent files are in comes up.. so why doesn't recheck even begin? Throw up any sort of message? Just nothing.

So I'm rechecking the torrent now after re-downloading the first part of it, the rest of the files are there too and they've been set with normal priority so everything SHOULD hopefully come up 100%.
And it didn't.. I selected the rest of the files to normal while it was checking so maybe that's why it didn't pick them up, I've done another recheck but it just stops after the first file.
The rechecking mechanism doesn't look very robust.. if I select one of the files and click open location it opens to that file, they were all downloaded by qBittorrent so there are no filename changes etc..

So I've gone about downloading the start of each part inside the torrent again to freshen it up and then copy back all the completed files and I've found that the download speed isn't adhered to I set it to 1000 kibs and I was still downloading at over 4MB/s..

All the files are getting downloaded into an unwanted folder.. why? Getting the feeling this is still in beta, I wish I wasn't forced to use it. It seems very unwilling to "see" these files. uTorrent would've picked them up..

Windows / 3.4 Beta UI is laggy

Doing a select all inside a torrent with a couple of hundred entries can take up to two or so seconds on my i5, 3.3.15 does this instantly. This is the worst of it, but the whole UI just feels very slow.

Generic / [Split Topic] Seeding from NAS devices

Anyone here been successfully seeding from a NAS? Utorrent doesn't seem to happy to seed multiple torrents from a NAS, is qBittorrent any better?
