Suggestions / Network Types

So a friend of mine uses Vuze & he says that it has the option to right click on the file & then click on network & that will give him the option of using either public, I2P & TOR.

He says when it's not on public, the files rarely DL fast or even garner a connection.

Do you have this option?


Windows / QB Isn't Downloding the Torrents

OMG, I don't know what's going on. Everything was fine last week, then I went to DL a new torrent from 2 different sites & it wouldn't DL.

I thought there was something wrong with the torrent.

I just went to DL 2 other different torrents & they also won't DL.

I've tried using my VPN in different countries & NOTHING will work.

What's wrong??? L(

Windows / All Tab Doesn't Work

Ok, I completely forgot to mention this the last time I was in the forum. This has been an issue for as long as I've been using QB.

If by accident or even deliberately I click on one of the other sections in the left nav, like active, inactive, errored, etc. & I want to go back to the "All" section which is what the default is when you launch QB (right?), it doesn't do that.

In fact I'm not even sure (sorry I don't want to test it again) it let's me click from one section to another, although I could be wrong, it may just be the "all" section that doesn't reload.

The only way for me to get my complete list of torrents back in the main window, is to close down QB & then relaunch it again.

I hope you can fix this or tell me if I'm ding something wrong.

Windows / Various Issues

So I'm running the latest version & I noticed some issues. First off the software upgraded 3 different times in less than a week. That seemed strange since I never encountered that before. I just want to make sure that was meant to happen.

1. Since the updates, the ratio isn't working. I have it set to stop at a ratio of 1.20, but it's not, it's going to 3, 4, etc. & the color is light blue, not the dark blue which shows that it's done.

2. Now this may be an issue on my end. I had it set to max 30 UL, DL, etc. & there's several files that are just sitting there doing nothing which I assumed is b/c there's no seeders, but then recently, even shows that are popular weren't DLing & they keep saying "queued. "

I've now increased it to 35, so I'll see if that solves the problem, otherwise there's a lot of shows that are just in que, & they just sit there & never change. I even try to force them & nothing happens.

If shows have already hit the ratio, does the software still count those towards the 35? I thought it didn't b/c they are all finished.


Windows / Can't Seed

Hi there,

I just got a new computer so I had to install everything from scratch.

2 questions:

1. When I tried to continue to DL shows on my laptop after moving it into my living room, this time using wifi instead of wired, none of the files would play properly even though QB stated it was finished DLing. I tried it several times & different shows too. I'm confused why that is

2. So I had to move everything over to my new desktop, & while the shows are playing fine now, they won't seed. Normally with my VERY fast speed (6 UL), my ratio of 1 is over & done with in no time at all. It's already been an hour & it's not even moving on any of the shows. It still says 0.00 under the ratio column & now I even see numbers in the Up Speed column. That's without a VPN.
