Linux / Fail to build qbittorrent-nox
« on: August 23, 2018, 07:13:14 PM »
Hi, I'm trying to build qbittorrent 4.1.2 with option --disable-gui on ubuntu 18.04.

Code: [Select]
./configure --disable-gui
...
checking for Qt5 qmake >= 5.5.1... not found
configure: error: Could not find qmake

The problem is that I already install qt5-qmake:

Quote
apt-show-versions qt5-qmake
qt5-qmake:amd64/stretch 5.7.1+dfsg-3+b1 uptodate

Is this a bug or am I missing some library I don't know of?

Linux / Re-download instead of recheck
« on: February 01, 2016, 11:59:51 AM »
Hi I'm running qbittorrent 3.1.10 on debian jessie.
I'm saving the torrent on a nas that is mounted on /media/torrent.

I turned off my laptop.
I restarted the laptop but I forgot to mount the nas and opened qbittorrent.
All torrent are shown in pause with the "red icon".

Ten I close qbittorrent, mount the nas and open qbittorren again.
At this point I start one of the torrents for seeding it (no need to download).
I expect qbittorrent to recheck the file but, instead, it start download it again.
I notice anyway that the file I'm trying to seed is of the right size (I mean, it hasn't been removed/truncated).

Code: [Select]
du -sh /media/torrent/myfile
5.7G

What do you think about it?

Generic / Android app
« on: September 23, 2012, 11:33:42 AM »
Hi all, I just wanted to know if anybody is working on an Android app for qbittorrent.
The webui doesn't work very well on Adnroid (firefox).
Most of the time, it doesn't show the torrents.

I noticed bittorrent and utorrent have their own app.
It's based on a service so you don't have to configure your firewall.
The client connects to this service and the mobile's app does the same.

What do you think about it?

Suggestions / Download by WebUi
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:02:04 AM »
Hi, I would like to have the possibility to download the contento of a torrent directly from the WebUi by http.

In my specifica case, I share qbittorrent with my brother so we both can add download using only one computer.
Once download is complete, files have to be copied on other pcs.
Sometime is not so easy to create or access a shared folder and in other shenareous it mught be even impossible.

In the case a torrent contains a single file it should be easy to download form the WebUi. If file are multiple, then it wuold be a good idea to download them all in a compressed files, like it happen in webmails like gmail with more than one attachment.

Thankyou.

Linux / [SOLVED] Impossible to navigate when qbittorrent is active
« on: December 20, 2010, 11:20:39 PM »
I'm using qbittorrent on debian sqeuzze.
I set up the port forwading rules in my firewall, I limited the upload bandwidth to 20 KB/s including the tcp overhead.
It does not matter if I have one or many torrents active, there's now way to use other internet application!
I can't even use the borwser because or install software by apt-get. All traphic is blocked.
I cant even see the web page of my router!!!

I tried to compile the latest stable version (2.5.2) but it didn't change.
I chose then to test ktorrent with (almost) same setting: same upload limit, same maximun connection, port forwarding enables....
and I can surf internet without any trouble.

I'm writing not having ktorrent actvie. No way to do that with qbittorrent.

Any idea?
