Nice feature, it works (I see it, not posted yet).
Thank you, shiki :)

3.1.5 works without any problems (as the previous).
Thanks a lot, sledgehammer_999  8)

I don't think Spyware Terminator is a rogue program. It's offered by Filehippo, Softpedia, Kaldata and others; as far as I know, they don't spread malicious or rogue software.
In the last 3 dmp files the problem maybe comes from the Flash player, Borderlands 2 and Firefox. It can be RAM or HDD problem.

I don't know why XP users keep using that old OS instead upgrading to, a safer, W7.

Because there are still a lot of people with old machines, who thinks Win 7 will be "too heavy" for their systems. This is correct... if you choose Ultimate. No one wants Starter or Home Basic, because their lack of "features". But the average user don't even know what exactly are these features and actually never use them. What do the average user on his PC - browsing the net, watching online video, downloading some stuff, playing multimedia; all this can be done with Starter and it's not much "heavier" than XP. But the Starter is ugly, indeed. And again - this is not quite true.
Here's the Aero Patch:
And you have Aero support, transparency, themes support, window frames color change, wallpaper change, etc. premium features.
And here is the Placebo themes pack:
It have both Aero and Basic themes support.
Now on my old laptop I use Starter and it looks cool. And it's light. No problems for me. The problem is that the people don't want to read. They only clicks like brainless zombies.
About the updates - the Service Packs are enough imho. The most important is the device behind the keyboard ;)

Guys, I have not used IRC since late 90's and early 2000's :)

@shiki, great job, cheers!

Maybe the news in the channel needs an update.

Windows / Re: qbittorent 3.1.3 problem with the association issue

@ ironcross i didn't mention qbt, buggy, firefox 25.0.1 is buggy and has problems within it crashes frequently . yes i do have cleaning software ,ccleaner ..

Firefox 25.0.1 is not buggy at all, believe me. I'm using it on two machines with different configurations, i have a bunch of addons and no problems or crashes. But in your case maybe some addon cause the crashes?
I use Ccleaner too. In the Applications tab under Firefox i'm checked only Internet Cache and Download History.
My suggestion is to make Reset of Firefox:

I have Firefox 25.0.1 too and I just installed v3.1.3 and works over here for torrent and magnet links. I don't know why it isn't working for you.

+1 here too.
File association works normal as usual, nothing changed. MFF 25.0.1 + qBT 3.1.3.
I see recently some guys have problems with their systems or settings, but they say: "qBT is buggy". Obviously qBT is not buggy and the majority of users don't experience such problems. That means the problems is somewhere in these guys configurations or something that mess them.
@bobinmk, do you use some "optimization" or cleaning software?

...all updates.

That's not good. Windows update should be turned off and even disabled as service immediately after install.
About qBittorrent - are you tried clean install?

Windows / Re: about importing existing torrents
« on: November 14, 2013, 10:47:32 am »
but it started to download the file that i was copied to other location.

Which location? The new one that you tested with the portable version? I think the portableapps app isn't truly portable. I think it still saves config files to the system. Be sure that the save path shown in the "general" tab is the correct one. I'm pretty sure that it points to the location you set last time in the portableapps version.

That was the first thing i thought. I checked the download location of that file in my normal installed qBT - it was correct, pointed to my download folder, where i download all my torrents. And the file was there. After the test with portable version and other location, the normal qBT didn't recognize the file as downloaded.
It seems the portable qBT interferes somehow with the installed qBT (not truly portable indeed). But this doesn't expalains the problems of these guys above. I'm pretty sure if you use only the portable version or only the normal version there will no be problems. I re-added many times torrents with the normal version without a problem.

OK, i downloaded the portable version from
Re-added one of my existing torrents in the portable version, checked it and started seed immediately. No problem.
I closed the portable and started the normal qBT - it checked the torrent and started seed.
Then i copied one of the downloaded things to other location, re-added it in the portable version, pointed to the new location, checked it and started seed immediately. No problem.
After that i removed the portable version and started my normal installed qBT, but it started to download the file that i was copied to other location. The file was there, in my download folder. It actually not been moved. Nothing changed for the installed qBT. I tried recheck - it stalled and paused; if i start it - it downloads the already downloaded existing file.

I don't think there are bugs.

Ah... Web UI. I don't know, i've never used it. I hope the others will bring some ideas.
And btw i move this topic to Generic - it seems more suitable.

When re-add a torrent watch carefully the options. There must be a check mark for enable/disable hash check.
