Windows / BSOD on windows 10
« on: April 08, 2017, 10:00:35 PM »
Did anyone had a blue screen of death on windows 10 with version 3.3.12?

I'm not sure if it is Qbittorrent.

I'm trying to eliminate suspects, but since reverting to 3.3.11 I didn't experience another BSOD.

Using a keyboard for selecting multiple files also complicates the process for the following reasons.

Let's say you have 10 completed entries of the same video in qbittorrent but you want to check the quality  before deciding which to delete.
After checking the video (if you do not like the quality) you can mark the entree for deletion by selecting the check box next to it. And then you go on with that for the remaining 9 videos and then delete selected entries with a single click.

If you use keyboard for selecting multiple files you would first have to check all 10 files and then go by your memory in deciding which ones you wanted to delete thus making an opportunity for mistakes.

Not really.

I just found out that android app Qbittorrent controller has exactly that and I find it very useful.

Just have two different icons or perhaps customizable toolbar so you can add it.

When I'm on my home wi-fi I can successfully manipulate torrents with qbittorrent controller.

Problem occurs when I'm on other wi-fi's than it simply doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Suggestions / Check boxes next to every torrent list entree

My final suggestion is to have check boxes next to every torrent list entree.

This would allow multiple selection of torrent entries and their easy manipulation with other commands.

Let's say you have 10 completed entries of a same movie in qbittorrent but you want to check the quality before deciding which to delete.
After checking the video (if you do not like the quality) you can mark the entree for deletion by selecting the check box next to it. And then you go on with that for the remaining videos and then delete selected entries with a single click.

Suggestions / 2 versions of delete button on the toolbar
« on: November 20, 2016, 02:28:35 PM »
My suggestion is to have two delete buttons,

1st one would be standard remove button and
2nd one would be remove + delete data.

Both buttons/commands should be available on the toolbar.

I agree with primexx

We should be able to delete something without checking the box every time. I just started using qbittorrent after years of using utorrent who also didn't have this simple option. I find it to be most annoying thing as we are talking about mountain of unnecessary mouse clicks (probably around 3000 clicks per year for me). That option alone would've provably saved my Logitech G700 mouse from having the famous "left click problem"  :) ;).

My suggestion is to have two delete buttons, 1st one would be standard remove button and 2nd one would be remove + delete data.

In settings you could than have prompt dialogue options for both versions.

Please consider adding this option. Thanks.
