MAC / What is an IK/O error?
« on: August 24, 2019, 09:03:09 PM »
Periodically I get this notification. When it comes, it repeats every minute or so and drives me crazy with an alert sound I can't seem to turn off! At the very least, I'd like to be able to silence it without having to mute my Mac completely.

Thanks. It is working fine for me so far. Whereas the official version periodically freezes.

Windows / Re: Translate qBittorrent to iTunes?

I am a Mac user, but presumably you need to do something similar on Windows.
The files you have downloaded need to be in a format that iTunes can read. Video files need to be mp4, audio mp3 or mac etc. I use Handbrake to convert video and XLD to convert FLAC audio. There are probably similar free apps in the Windows world. Once converted you just "Add to Library" in iTunes.

I switched recently too. I am afraid these forums are pretty inactive. I asked a question a week ago and have had no reply so far!
Anyway, I don't use the Categories function, but just tried out out. It worked fine for me. Have you looked at the left side bar? You need to click the box beside CATEGORIES to reveal them. Hope that helps.

Newcomer to qbittorrent here and already finding it better then utorrent!
I want to add a couple of the torrent search engine plugins, but all I see when I click on the link is some code. What do I do with it? I don't want to copy and paste it into Terminal in case it's for Windows...
