well, you have to take it to a repair centre first i think?

For the price it depends on what needs to be changed though, if the faulty component can be fixed without the need to change the whole board then its worth it. But if you need a board change, that would be very very expensive.

my ISP don't block this kind of connections, and the torrent is public ones downloaded from nyaa.

I have already checked my router firewall setting its not it either.

Previously when i still own a window pc, my connections have no problem at all, isp and router settings is the same i haven't touched my router for years.

Now i'm running this on macbook pro.. quite sure it's not the torrent client fault because i have tried several other alternatives but it's all the same, i even turned off my macbook's firewall but still.. not working.

I really have no idea whats the issue already.
Generic / Re: Upload Speeds

There's a few problems in qBitTorrent (and libtorrent which qBT uses) that prevents very high speeds to single/individual peers and seeds.
uTP support is rather slow and worse has considerable packet loss in my LAN and internet tests.
qBitTorrent (and presumably libtorrent) handles upload slots rather poorly and also seems "reluctant" to connect to peers known to be on the torrent, at least compared to uTorrent.
qBT also can be a bit of a CPU hog at high speeds -- and some of its code is single-threaded so once it maxes out a CPU core won't go any faster.

If the VPN client on the router still connects to a remote VPN server, the router still wouldn't need to be port-forwarded.

You might need to configure some sort of bridge (rules?) on the router though to get that to work.
VPNs can't be very CPU intensive, and routers tend to have terribly weak CPUs in them, so only try router VPN client as an experiment.

Does your ISP or router firewall your qBitTorrent connection?

Are these torrents marked with the private flag, where connectivity is extremely crippled?

i notice in the peer list those that gets disconnected is often with the connection 'BT', does this mean anything? when downloading also often is from those with connection 'uTP'.
Linux / I hope this was the best programme ever

I just created my first program helps you manage the brightness of your laptop keyboard.

I made this program because I was looking for a binary that would only change the brightness as light, which unfortunately I did not find. The closest thing was upower, but this one has many dependencies that I don't want to install, since I like to have my distro very minimalist (things of taste, please don't judge me).

I also tell you that this is my first project in C (I'm very new in C) and I would love to have contributors who can help me improve or revise this software.

Please any any criticism will be welcome.

Thank you all!

So a water bottle leaked into my backpack housing my 2015 macbook pro. Some water got into my macbook, but i thought it was very little as it didnt feel very wet. When i got home to turn the laptop on, the apple logo appeared and then started to warp, and i havent been able to turn the computer on since.

What do you think this costs to repair? Better off buying a new one? I really wanted to wait until the next generation of macbook pros.Distance calculator

I dont understand why my torrent are not seeding anything even though there are so many leechers.

I have no problem downloading though.

My pc have open connection to the port i use and firewall is off.. is there any other thing im missing?

I do notice sometime there is 1 peer trying to connect but soon disconnects from the peer list.

Any idea?
Linux / Re: Magnet Links Not Going To qBittorrent
« Last post by mg2635599 on September 12, 2019, 05:19:23 pm »
ok this issues seems to have returned. since my second post there have been a lot of updates and looks like at least one of them keeps breaking my fix. after a series of updates yesterday once again when i click on a magnet link i get the indicator to suggest an application is going to open but the qbittorrent dialog box never comes up. now if i click a torrent link and click open on the dialog box that pops up the qbt dialog box box will pop up allowing me to add the torrent to qbt. the indicator that pops up on the cursor when i click a magnet link is the one for deluge. i really don't understand this since i uninstalled deluge completely, and used kfind and catfish to find and remove all traces of deluge. please any help with fixing this would be greatly appreciated. thanks
