Re: Can't change incoming port on Raspberry Pi qBittorrent-nox

Hello,

www-data is not your default user account, it should be ”pi“. You get your user information with the command ”id“.

You can verfiy the port with

netstat -tulpen |grep qbit

Re: WebTorrent

Hello, I think Likao and ciaobaby are talking of different things. Web-seeds and this webtorrent-Client are completly different things. Web-seed is the Idea, that file, that is both available through a torrent swarm and as static download via http, could be feed by the latter if there are no peers a...

Re: How to use desktop client to connect to a headless server?

Hello,

as far as I know that is not possible. Transmission has a real client-server logic, the server version of qBT doesn't.

But the web-ui is catching more and more up.

Re: qbittorrent on osmc "no carrier" only working when logge dinto putty

Hello,

the running application is closed as soon as you disconnect from SSH. You need to run it as a system daemon, if you want to have it run all the time. Or at least in a screen session.

Re: qbittorrent-nox and raspbian desktop gui

Hello,

in the corrent version of qBT, you can set different locations for each torrent in the web-ui. Just upgrade to version 4.x.

Re: Not grasping automatically adding torrents

Hello,

you can add watched folders in the options in the web-ui. You wrote something of ”unchecked“, I didn't understand that part. Of course the option needs to be checked on. It works for me.

You might consider upgrading qbittorrent to 4.x via the repository.

Re: Change path from qbittorrent-nox

Hello,

it is possible to do that directly in the configuration file or through the web-ui in the options.

You should consider upgrading the version, 3.3.7 ist rather old.

Re: Can't change incoming port on Raspberry Pi qBittorrent-nox

Hello,

sounds like the qbittorrent process has no write access to the configuration file. As which user does qbit run and are the access right to /home/$USER/.config/qbittorrent/qbittorrent.conf correct?

Re: can't open torrent file

I can confirm this on qBittorrent v.3.3.0beta.

Probably some buffer overflow problem due to this hugh torrent file. You should file a bugreport.

Hello,

nice to know. The changelog shows quite a lot of fixes.

How about the webui, will there be any progress soon? Because there was no developer for long time.

Re: Won't start in Ubuntu 12.04

The problem is, that the new repo does not include the libtorrent-rasterbar. So there are two solutions: - apt-get remove libtorrent-rasterbar* qbittorrent && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent But with this solution, you get a very old libtorrent-rasterbar from the official repo. - use this repo: a) ...

Re: umask

As far as I know, qbittorrent stores the files with the owner of it's daemon. You can change that in the init-Skript.

And the umask is something with has nothing to do with a process, but with the folder. So you set it for the download folder..
