Re: An question about location of a .torrent and file

Your original .torrent file can go where ever.
qBittorrent has its own stored list of .torrent files, but it's hard to sift through since their filenames are their hash instead of what you named them.

Re: Torrent speed limit

That regular downloads are fast suggests trouble. Sorry I missed that point on my first reply. 1. Do internet searches about your internet provider (recently?) throttling BitTorrent traffic. 2. Have you tried other BitTorrent apps? If so, they might be faster. (Don't bother if you're not already run...

Re: Torrent speed limit

Sounds like a LAN connection stuck on 100 megabits/second mode instead of 1 gigabit/second mode.

Re: Multiple torrents sharing the same download folder?

If you're downloading multiple torrents into the same download folder, be careful about deleting them!
There's been reports that deleting any torrents using a download folder deletes the download folder even if it's not empty!

Re: High/Large Memory Usage

If qbittorrent.exe is using 1.1 GB ram according to task manager, then check qBitTorrent's cache size (in advanced settings).

Re: Apparently Capped

Test with uTP disabled...and then test with TCP disabled (only allow uTP). If both of those perform poorly... Please test a different BitTorrent client, preferably one that doesn't use libtorrent at its core. If it's still the case that everything is slow... There may be some talk somewhere on the i...

Re: 4000+ files need Recheck after power hit, anyway to bypass?

Unless you have backups of qBitTorrent's settings, there's only 1 other way to somewhat avoid a recheck.
...And that's to manually re-add all the torrents with the option checked when re-add them to skip recheck.

Re: Task Manager - Page Faults - Weirdness

Only things I can think of is do a ram test for failing ram...and also scan your storage drives for errors.

Re: Qbittorrent seem to be storing download logs somehow!!

That probably won't happen if you remove qBitTorrent's old settings and restart from scratch...then manually add back the torrents you want to keep. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions#Where_does_qBittorrent_save_its_settings https://qbforums.shiki.hu/index.php...

Re: Upload queueing behavior

Also, with so many torrents potentially started at once, setting max connections per torrent really low like 5-10 each might reduce the tendency for 1 really busy torrent to hog all your global max connections. There seems to be serious speed issues when that happens, going by this post: Increasing ...

Re: Upload queueing behavior

Instead of using torrent queuing (which seems pretty broken according to your screenshots!) to regulate the amount of uploading, use global max upload slots and per torrent max upload slots so your upload isn't trying to send to peers at <1 KB/sec each. Unless a qBitTorrent/libtorent dev fixes this ...

qBitTorrent is open source software...and free too.
Are ALL versions of qBitTorrent detected as having a crypto-miner?

Yes...
Although it is probably better left checked, try unchecking if you're having problems again.
