[solved] If qBittorrent returns 51 search results
Sometimes i see that qBittorrent (4.3.8 in my case) returns 51 search results only. And only from like 2 search sites out of 9+ enabled. Reason is i think that most sites does not contain any matching content. eztv.re though returns around 50 unrelevant results, thepiratebay 1 result "No result...

Which advanced option to check if disk overutilized during recheck?
Hello, I was rechecking torrent with payload of >100GB and the SSD drive had a backlog that caused CPU overload (iowait) and freezes of media player during qbittorrent 4.3.8 torrent recheck for couple of minute. So i wanted to ask what to check/modify? This is a seedbox, like 150 torrents actively s...

Re: how to setup qbittorrent for private torrent tracker sites
I am unsure what do you mean by "not put seeders", if no one downloaded or not seeding, you can not download. You have to restore backup or try file recovery utilities like Recuva, Undelete Plus.Deathgiver500 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 6:10 pmI never put seeders on is there anyway to get my files back these are really important

Re: qbt debug mode on LInux?
Built-in debug logging would be much better than building some separate version of the app. Also not everyone knows how to build on Linux.
But i understand it may not be possible or may be very hard to make the app do debug logging built-in.

Re: max_concurrent_http_announces - tracker status is "Updating" too long time
i think that qbt may be resetting the number back to to 99 on quit or on modifying advanced options. Because it is unable to display my custom set value 700 and instead it reset it to 99 so on save, i accidentally return back to insufficient 99. So i have adjusted my qbt Linux m0nitoring bash script...

Re: max_concurrent_http_announces - tracker status is "Updating" too long time
I have quit qbt and manually edited the qBittorrent.conf file (on Linux is in ~/.config/qBittorrent/) and adjusted conn. limit like this: Session\MaxConcurrentHTTPAnnounces=700 (qbt GUI allows to set max. 99 while default is 50) and my impression after this change is that: 1. i think that the http t...

How do you reduce CPU & disk transactions number in qbittorrent?
How to reduce qBittorrent CPU usage and number of disk operations per second (sequential is not the problem, but transactions number is i think). While i want to keep maximum upload slots. View/Statistics tab shows: Queued I/O jobs: ~20 Average time in queue: 41 seconds Read cache hits: 35%, 255MB t...

qBittorrent/libtorrent - buffer watermarks?
Quoting from the wiki page : Send buffer watermark — this is the upper limit for the send buffer size. If the send buffer has fewer bytes than this, another 16kB block will be read into it. If set too small, upload rate capacity will suffer. If set too high, memory will be wasted. The actual waterma...

qBittorrent Execution log: Failed to listen on IP *, port TCP/*. Reason: Address already in use
In the qbt 4.3.1 execution log tab on Linux i have seen message like Failed to listen on IP: mylocalifaceIP, port: TCP/mypost. Reason: Address already in use Where it was telling my internal Wireguard network interface address and my filesharing port defined in Options / Connection When i have chang...

qbt debug mode on LInux?
Qbt developers not yet created any config. file that would allow user to bulk change paths so people have issues migrating from Windows to Linux. Now my problem is that after adding windows fastresume files qbt launching like a minute and then disappear. Is there any debug mode that can tell where t...
