Re: Search returned no results
Did you restart the computer after re/installing python? I guess it should not be needed but who knows. Try to remove/add some top well known search plugin and restart qbt and retry search. https://github.com/qbittorrent/search-plugins/wiki/Unofficial-search-plugins Then i would check qbt the tab wi...

Re: Bencoding error when downloading torrent via RSS feed
I would try different torrents from same server/source/domain. Maybe these will work, maybe not. When opening the URL, it should contain links of .torrent files or maybe magnet. Otherwise qbt can not do anything. You may try contacting the server/domain owner who supply the torrent that may be erron...

Re: kernel: TCP: request_sock_TCP: Possible SYN flooding on port MyQbtPort. Sending cookies. Check SNMP counters.
If anyone facing this, it is best to search the warning message in title on search engine. Here are things that was tried to increase various network limits. I have suspection that the cause of this flood may be a bug in qbittorrent where due to network outage ( in my case possibly caused by non rel...

4.4.2 weird behavior with torrents auto-import, removed torrent file
Hello, Linux and qbt 4.4.2 I have created new torrent, saved to Downloads directory (which is also used by qbt to auto-import new .torrent files into qbt). In torrent create dialog i have selected to automatically add/start torrent after creation. I was looking for thew .torrent file then, but it is...

[solved] If qBittorrent returns 51 search results
Sometimes i see that qBittorrent (4.3.8 in my case) returns 51 search results only. And only from like 2 search sites out of 9+ enabled. Reason is i think that most sites does not contain any matching content. eztv.re though returns around 50 unrelevant results, thepiratebay 1 result "No result...

Which advanced option to check if disk overutilized during recheck?
Hello, I was rechecking torrent with payload of >100GB and the SSD drive had a backlog that caused CPU overload (iowait) and freezes of media player during qbittorrent 4.3.8 torrent recheck for couple of minute. So i wanted to ask what to check/modify? This is a seedbox, like 150 torrents actively s...

Re: how to setup qbittorrent for private torrent tracker sites
I am unsure what do you mean by "not put seeders", if no one downloaded or not seeding, you can not download. You have to restore backup or try file recovery utilities like Recuva, Undelete Plus.Deathgiver500 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 6:10 pmI never put seeders on is there anyway to get my files back these are really important

Re: qbt debug mode on LInux?
Built-in debug logging would be much better than building some separate version of the app. Also not everyone knows how to build on Linux.
But i understand it may not be possible or may be very hard to make the app do debug logging built-in.

Re: max_concurrent_http_announces - tracker status is "Updating" too long time
i think that qbt may be resetting the number back to to 99 on quit or on modifying advanced options. Because it is unable to display my custom set value 700 and instead it reset it to 99 so on save, i accidentally return back to insufficient 99. So i have adjusted my qbt Linux m0nitoring bash script...

Re: max_concurrent_http_announces - tracker status is "Updating" too long time
I have quit qbt and manually edited the qBittorrent.conf file (on Linux is in ~/.config/qBittorrent/) and adjusted conn. limit like this: Session\MaxConcurrentHTTPAnnounces=700 (qbt GUI allows to set max. 99 while default is 50) and my impression after this change is that: 1. i think that the http t...
