Re: Moved from Win10 to Linux Mint. How to migrate torrents?

Hello, rumanzo. I didn't use any programs or commands to do the migration. I've just copied all the files from old BT_backup from Windows 10 to the new destination in Linux Mint - BT_backup. Then I started qBittorrent and continue to change the destination of the torrent from the program Content se...

Re: Moved from Win10 to Linux Mint. How to migrate torrents?

Hello, there. Recently I too migrated my torrents from Windows 10 to Linux Mint, using qBittorrent on both systems. With most of the torrents everything is fine. But there is one little obstacle for the rest of the torrents. I'll be using some pictures: First, this is one example from Linux Mint wh...

Re: Linux tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

Hi rumanzo, this looks like an interesting tool. I'm currently running Linux Mint 19.3 and Deluge 2.0.3. I'm about to migrate from Deluge to qBt 3.3.16 (I know it's a very old version, but it's the one I need to use.) Anyway, I downloaded the bt2qbt_v1.5_amd64_linux binary, but I don't know how to ...

Re: Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

hi, i recently changed from base OS win10 to linux mint. all my torrents need path redirection: D:\ to /media/user/DATA same for E:\ and F:\ to related external HDD path on linux. can it be done? i've tried different path replacement commands with bt2qbt_v1.5_amd64 (on vmware win10) and with bt2qbt...

Re: Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

About 100% completion with partically downloaded torrents it's impossible Let's say the tool won't work for torrents that were downloaded partially, and by partially I meant this >> See the screenshot I added. https://i.postimg.cc/dQTHZL79/image.png In the image, you would see I did not select the ...

Re: Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

Blackhole , crematerimt Check version 1.4, I adapted bt2qbt for libtorrent 1.2.5.0 that uses qBittorrent 4.2.0+ , transfer must be fine now. Yeah, I thought that might be the case too, checked some other posts and one person said that 4.2.1 is more optimized so tried that instead and it worked. Alt...

I apologize for the long time between responses. I have gotten busy with work and this slipped to the bottom of my priority list. However, I tried the new version today and it worked like a charm!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful tool!
Glad to see that :-)

Re: Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

I tried this with my utorrent having 284 torrents and after import, opened qbittorrent and it became non-responsive. I started the app multiple times but every time it becomes non-responsive and stays like that for some time before closing on its own. https://i.postimg.cc/L6pscz4r/image.png Hi. I c...

Re: Linux tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

uTorrent can be configured to store completed torrents in a specific directory and incomplete torrents in a specific directory. That is how I have it setup. I mapped the S:\ Drive to /media/torrents on the new linux box. Try new version https://github.com/rumanzo/bt2qbt/releases/download/v1.3/bt2qb...

Re: Linux tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

Thank you so much! Let me know if you need any more data from me. Thanks! I check you case, and it's difficult case. It's not about the replace flag. The fact is that when a utorrent saves a torrent, it puts the torrent file in its directory (in AppData\Roaming\uTorrent) and the key in the resume.d...

Re: Linux tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

Thank you for the work you have put into this tool! I am attempting to use it to migrate from utorrent 3.2.1 running on Windows to qbittorrent running on Ubuntu 18.04. I have ran the following command but I must be doing something wrong with the replace function. ./bt2qbt_v1.2_amd64_linux -s /media...
