Can I get the hash-based unique path feature that existed in old versions back?

When downloading multiple torrents have the same file name, each overwrites each other causing trouble. As far as I remember, in the old versions, the temp and destination folder had a unique name based on the first few characters of the hash. Can I re-enable this feature? I know I could set a new u...

Re: Fail to build qbittorrent-nox

sirio81: error you posted indicates you have too old libtorrent version. You can check which version do you have this way from commandline: python -c "import libtorrent; print libtorrent.version" If your libtorrent version is 1.0.x you will get that error. Solution is to install or compile newer lib...

Re: I get an error while doing "make" command

Just got same error when trying to compile 4.1.5 . Trying to frantically find solution... p.s. I found a way to compile qbt 4.1.5. using libtorrent 1.1.11, but I'm not happy with 4.1.5 so far :( 1. With same settings as with libtorrent 1.0.11 and 4.1.3 it does use more RAM (I will try to lower ram c...

What does CheckingMemUsageSize option do?

Does anyone know what does this option, which was introduced in version 4.1.5 do in qbittorrent-4.1.5/src/base/bittorrent/session.cpp file: m_checkingMemUsage(BITTORRENT_SESSION_KEY("CheckingMemUsageSize"), 16) FEATURE: Add checking_mem_usage option to AdvancedSettings (FranciscoPombal) If I use  Di...

Re: WebUI missing some text & not refreshing after upgrade

We just need to wait for version 4.1.5.
I believe problems you described are known to developers and will be fixed in next release.

Re: Show How much Free space left in WebUI

Seems like this has been FINALLY implemented in 4.1.4, but I will wait for 4.1.5 due to various other problems reported with 4.1.4.

Manually change title name of WebUI

Would be great if you could add option to manually change title name of WebUI in commandline. For example like this: qbittorrent-nox --webuititlename "your new title goes here" Why? Becouse sometimes I open WebUI in places where I should not (e.g. @work) and some ppl might see qBittorrent in browser...

Re: Unable to connect to any seeds/peers

No idea, but generally using port 6882 is BAD idea.
Its long time banned on major clients/trackers and probably blacklisted/deprioritize on some ISP's.
Use high port, something like port : 57305

Show How much Free space left in WebUI

If there is 1 thing which is quite annoying and feels incomplete (compared to Deluge's webUI) - that is that there is nowhere to see how much free space is left (on download location) in WebUI.
Please correct that asap...

Re: Install QBittorrent on Odroid XU4 (Ubunutu 18.04)

Use -d switch, like this: "qbittorrent-nox --webui-port=YOUR_PORT_GOES_HERE -d"
For example "qbittorrent-nox --webui-port=31337 -d"

Re: Heuristic detection of leech attacks

heh, since I use almost exclusively private trackers only I would be glad to such "attacks" as much as possible. Obviously I do have dedicated box and line for torrents and want my client to upload as much as possible. On private trackers seeding is generally a problem as everyone is trying to do th...
