From my testing, it is same as you said, if the torrent files have no parent folder, it will create a folder for it.
In addition, the "don't create subfolder" option, will remove the parent folder(if exist) of the torrent files.

If adding this feature , please also allow options to naming the parent folder. When torrent with same file or folder name, some files will be override, and one of the folder will never move out the temporary download folder, i can not find a proper to solve this issue. This issue is exist in github...
