Re: Latest stable is not stable

For the # column thingy, I think it might be because you have queueing disabled. Enabling it (you can put -1 as a value to queue infinite torrents) should give you the option to show # column when right-clicking on the columns. As for the magnet links, it seems like you're not the only one having th...

Re: Torrents have disappeared from qBittorrent after reinstalling

I don't know how you'd be able to get that stuff back then, or if you even can. Maybe someone else might be able to help, but I think you'll have to find the original torrents again.

Re: Updating qBittorrent

Hi ovanrakjarac!

Updating qBittorrent shouldn't cause any issue with your torrents. However, if you reaaally don't want to lose those torrents, you can just backup the %LOCALAPPDATA%\qBittorrent folder.

Re: Torrents never write/save data; status ends up 'stalled'

Don't worry, it's the kind of stuff that can happen to anyone.
Sounds like a permission issue, so I would start by checking the antivirus settings. I figure it could also come from Windows itself or a bad drive. Hope you find what's wrong. :)

Re: prioritize download speed?

The number column is only used for queuing afaik. You can set priority by clicking on the torrent, then on the content tab at the bottom of the window. Priority is set by folders, but if you set higher priority to some torrent's files and it has enough seeders , then the download should go faster th...

Re: Torrents have disappeared from qBittorrent after reinstalling

Hi Kotrab, that is quite the annoying issue. Did you check in

Code: Select all

~/Library/Application Support/qBittorrent
or have you got a backup of this folder?

Re: Default settings & best practices?

Automatic Torrent Management is used to save your files in different folders depending on which category it's assigned to. Super seeding is used to launch a swarmwith one seeder: you'll share a different part of the torrent to each peer so that they can start seeding quickly. I think that the defaul...

Re: all trackers 'Not Workig''

The files get listed in my download queue, and when I look at the list of Trackers, they all say "not working". (DHT, PeX, LSD are all listed as "working", but they're grayed out.) All of the trackers have 0 peers. I'm trying to download popular, mainstream files that have many seeders, so it's not...

Re: Hel correcting the slow download speed

Hi nick! Sorry for the wait, you were in moderation queue. First you should make sure you're connectable, so if you're using a VPN, enable port forward. Then, look for torrents with plenty of seeders, because you'll be downloading from them, the more the better. You may also get your torrents from p...
