Re: setting up default download location
volumes: - /path/to/appdata/config:/config - /path/to/downloads:/downloads Please use a code box when pasting a yaml file as it properly preserves the formatting. You need to change the second quoted line to this: - /home/test2/Downloads:/downloads Your first quoted line is also incorrect and must ...

Re: qBitTorrent installed by Docker file, saving files in a folder that I dont want!
In the QBT configuration page you are using an incorrect location to store your downloads. You can NOT use a directory located on your system, it must be, in your use case, /downloads

Export .torrent limited to 8-10 downloaded
I am running Qbit 4.5.2 in the dyonr/qbittorrentvpn docker.
If I select more than ten torrents and try to export them, only 8-10 .torrent files are downloaded.
Browser is Chrome 111.0.5563.64 on Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon.

Re: how can i update qbittorrent to latest version?
Your best bet going forward, especially with older or end of life distributions whose repos are not being kept current is to run apps in a docker. The latest linuxserver.io docker build is v4.4.0 beta. Current release 4.3.8 is also available with or without integrated VPN support. I run multiple ins...

Re: Does Using a VPN slow down qBittorrent?
Some reduction in performance should be expected. It could range from negligible to substantial depending how powerful your CPU is.

Re: Why can I upload when my VPN doesn't support port forwarding?
It works because the endpoint of your VPN has ports open that peers can connect to.
You would need a VPN port forward if you wanted to run a service on your end of the tunnel and make it available via the VPN IP address instead of your own IP address.

Re: Real IP exposed. What went wrong?
Not sure if this is applicable to your use case and version of qbt.
In your Settings | Advanced - what Network interface and Optional IP address to bind to are you using?
Also you should be running a special torrent that shows you what IP the trackers see for you.
