qBittorrent official forums

Tried 4.5.5 again and it opens now. I can add torrents but they don't download--they stick at "downloading metadata."

Just as the subject says, all I did was update--no other changes--and I can't add a torrent or magent by any method. Not from search, not from the file menu, not by dragging and dropping. No activity on current torrents either. I downloaded Transmission and it works fine. Tried to downgrade to 4.5.5...

Oh, man, I just posted about this because the same thing happened to me. It happened right after restarting with the 12.3 MacOS update so I thought it had something to do with that, but maybe not. I'd never seen it happen before.

When my iMac restarted after installing 12.3, qBittorrent hung on checking the torrents. I had to discard the qB folder in Application Support and re-add the torrents and qB was working fine.
