I couldn't find a way to disable dark mode, but changing all the blue colours to white in the Dark Mode settings, at least fixed my blue issue.

qbittorrent 5: how can I disable all the colours and the dark mode?
I just upgraded to version 5. While at first I liked all the colors, it quickly became obvious to me that all that blue is unreadable! Any way how I can get it to a normal look again?

Re: Allow users to specify Python executable path #19644
While I await feedback on the original question... I'm going to see what this registry hack can do for me: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/1148#issue-23511099 Until the <EDIT> :) EDIT: while being hopeful, adding the appropriate missing python path registry keys to wow64 did not fi...

Allow users to specify Python executable path #19644
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/pull/19644#discussion_r1335212274 tells us an extra option could be enabled for the advanced tab which would let users specify the Python executable path. I want to try this because qBittorrent fails to find my Python installations (https://forum.qbittorren...

Re: Missing Python Runtime (search)
I suppose this will turn into a ticket. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues You can link this thread too. I think it's the version.h misbehaving for some reason. But that file is beyond me. :( https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues?q=+python+search+tab Haven't found the tic...

Re: Missing Python Runtime (search)
Thank you for the tip. I just tried all 3 of them, one by one. None of them enabled the search engine in qbittorrent :(
It really, really is a fracking mystery :(

Re: Missing Python Runtime (search)
Update: I told Sticky Password to ignore qbittorrent.exe and sorting columns now works as it should! Sigh. :) One of these days I'll check my old PC and see if that fixes the search problem there... Peace! Update: did this on the offending PC today. It did not help: Python remains invisible for qbi...

problem after installation of sticky password: qbittorrent UI crashes and is non responding
Hey, I'm back. I switched to another (identical) PC where qbittorrent didn't have any problems and I've been using search since. I also had no more problems with a lagging non-responding user interface... BUT today the problem came back: I can still search but sorting on a column crashes QB once aga...

Re: Missing Python Runtime (search)
PS: these problems can't possibly be because I hard linked the Download folder from C:\Users\User\Download to my external USB3 disk, right? Right?? Edit: PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $Env:Path C:\Program Files\Python38\Scripts;C:\Program Files\Python38;C:\Users\Gebruiker\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Pyt...
