Re: Is there a limitless QBT?

1) Having more global connections will put more stress on your router and modem. So make sure they can both handle it. Usually you do NOT need that many connections - in fact you don't even need to raise the limit. 2) If those files are so important, I'd simply rent a seedbox. You can rent one for a...

Re: Windows XP Home 32 bits

Honestly qBittorrent received numerous improvements with each version and trackers mostly whitelist the very latest one.
I'd rather run an old uTorrent build, like 2.2.1, 1.6.1 or whatever you prefer.

Re: Better tracker management

That's an interesting concept... but why would you need to delete a tracker like that? :o

Re: FTP

Hey! If you mount the FTP location as Windows network share, MAYBE. Not too sure. You can use winsshfs to mount SFTP as network drive, then download there. Be careful, using qBittorrent like this is 10000% not supported. So if anything happens to your files, you can't really expect much support. For...

Re: Utorrent spoofing removed?

Haha, sorry Jed but this thread is like almost 10 years old.
Since then, qBittorrent has been whitelisted on all and every major tracker - thanks to the removal of spoofing.

Re: Qbittorrent wrong port

- any kind of VPN will render you passive/not-connectable. - pptp vpn is not really a vpn, it does not encrypt at all, it's just like an unencrypted tunnel. to fix your issue: - use a provider that has port forwarding. Windscribe, torguard, etc. - if you made your own vpn server, then you need to do...

Re: latest version in ppa

16.04 is not really supported at all I think...
I mean...
https://launchpad.net/~qbittorrent-team ... /+packages

can only see 18.04-19.10 packages.
and if I click 18.04 packages, they all have a green checkmark at ARM meaning they built and got published fine.

Re: On Downloads Done

You don't do that there.

Settings -> Bittorrent -> Seeding limits -> When ratio reaches: 0.00
That's stop on download.

You can still seed like this if you right click and force start something.

Re: No uploading with CyberGhost

To be able to properly seed, you need to have active port forward. CyberGhost does not allow that. https://support.cyberghostvpn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213982169-Why-are-my-P2P-download-rates-so-low- I'd recommend getting another VPN provider. Windscribe (for extra), Mullvad for example both allow po...

Re: PSA: Maintenance notices / website updates

- We've been getting a new wave of attacks from Tor, so we had to block Tor traffic. I mean... honestly, I don't think any legit traffic ever came from there.
- The rest of the high-attack-rate countries will retain their CAPTCHA prompt.

Thank you for your understanding.

Re: PSA: Maintenance notices / website updates

You might have encountered a "failed login" screen, it was the anti-spam being too aggressive.
This should not pop up anymore and everyone should be able to log in / stay logged in easily.
