Re: Sorting tracker list
Yeah this was asked on Issue Tracker but if you enable sorting, it breaks the Tier Group feature (click trackers, and its the arrows on the right).

Re: Hotio's legacy 4.3.9 docker container is causing high CPU usage even with just seeding around 600+ torrents
I mean this should be reported to the person who develops/maintains this docker image. It's not official, it does not belong to the qBittorrent team. In fact, there is no official image at all. I am not trying to say "don't post here at all", but basically we can only help with issues rega...

Re: Windows does not allow me to download the app cuz virus
Interesting. I went on the link, used Chrome, and no errors for me. If you go into Downloads in Chrome (Press CTRL+J), you can allow the file to be kept. But it's weird you are getting this virus warning, nothing for me over here.

Re: Transferring stats
Someone would need to develop a third party program/script to do this AND maintain it... it'd be just like the migrate scripts.

Re: 4.5.0 color scheme is... ugh
I was just following the Issues tracker and I based my comment on that. Still, if the color scheme bothers you, staying on the last version before is also absolutely totally fine. (Personally, I've been using the latest version on all my machines, and the color scheme is absolutely fine to me. No I ...

Re: qBittorrent-nox + VPS + TeamDrive
Damn this TeamDrive looks EXPENSIVE omg.
Anyway, try to copy files to and from this mount you just did. As your user. See if that works.
(Here is some documentation that lists arguments you could try: https://rclone.org/commands/rclone_mount/)

Welcome aboard!
Feel free to join our Discord, and if you encounter a bug, you can file an official report as well here: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues
(Make sure to use the Search there first, to see if it's been reported before.)
Thank you!

Re: Using qbittorent with DDNs
qBittorrent does not need to know anything about your DDNS setup. You set that up, and it gives you a DDNS address.. For example, on NO-IP.com it works like this: 1) you log in 2) add a new domain, like easyc0re.ddns.net 3) you download the ddns updater client exe and install it on your PC 4) now, e...

Direct seeding to yourself is always a pain.
I 100% recommend using SyncThing instead.

Re: CPU LEAK FOUND in 4.3.0 and still present in 4.5.0
I mean, I can't speak for the team, but this would be nearly impossible to debug. qBittorrent is "just" a portion of what you use as qBittorrent. It relies on Qt, it relies on libtorrent, and many other libraries. Each release is built with a set of these - sometimes, you have multiple bui...

Re: QBittorrent stuck on Downloading Metadata
(This post is about public torrents, not private ones. Receiving metadata occurs when you are trying to download a magnet link, but your client just can't connect properly.) VPN renders you passive (firewalled), unless you use a good provider (ie.: Mullvad, Windscribe) that lets you do port forwardi...

Re: Client disappearing on Windows 11
Yeah Windows loves tagging qBittorrent as "PUA". PUA is the first thing I disable on every Windows 10 and 11 machines I manage because it's just pure garbage. Even if it's enabled, search engines and other junk WILL install just fine. But when I want to download a utility, or qBittorrent, ...
