Re: I/O errors when seeding from samba share

samba shares have always been clunky on all clients (as far as I am aware). can't you just put rutorrent/rtorrent on the pi, and make it seed directly? of course you can qbittorrent-nox too, but it's a bit heavier than the rutorrent combo.

Re: qBT "steals" all my bandwidth when in use. Load balancing available?

4G/mobile internet is really not comfortable with multiple connections. When I used that, I used a VPN (Windscribe) and then torrented on top of that. Because that way I had one single connection to the VPN server and not hundreds to other peers. Maybe try a VPN. You can build your own with Wireguar...

PowerArchiver
But why use a proprietary piece of software in 2021 when 7-zip is open-source and available for 100% free? ???

Used all versions after every new release, never had any crash, excess ram consumption, speed issue, or any of that. Windows 10 LTSC, Windows 10, Ubuntu/Kubuntu OS versions, AMD/Intel CPUs, x64 platform on all PCs/computers. I am not saying others can't have issues but man, am I glad I that never r...

Re: [official]qBittorrent 4.3.8 installer - Built with MSVC 2017

I have attempted to install V4.3.8 upon 3 different downloads of the same executable and checked hash but it still will not launch (or do anything) once launched. The TaskManager shows no running processes or services related to the qBT installer... Maybe V4.3.9 won't misbehave like this release ve...

Hmm, not sure if it logs what YOU want to know. You are interested in highly specific things.

Re: Highlight events since last GUI interaction

There is a log in the software, you can enable it in View->Execution Log.
Maybe that'd help?

Re: 0B, 0% Done or Failed to open URI "file//media..." after migrating to Linux Lite

- I kinda fail to see the reason why you'd use such an old junk PC. even a raspberry pi is more efficient/safe and barely costs a dime. you can also literally dumpster dive laptops or iMacs that have Core2Duo or even Core i3 CPUs. - try a different distro that has a fresh qBittorrent. ArchBang for e...

Re: New to torrenting - Private tracker not reporting any uploads-

I mean, if you only just want to buffer, rent a 5-10$ seedbox and you can pump up terabytes in days. GB/TB rules make absolutely no sense on sites lol. It's interesting you have actual 100GBs of upload (you also produce "waste upload" when you are downloading). - Do you SEE the torrents up...

You could always use the qBittorrent API (via Python or else) and code whaaatever you wish. The sky is the limit!
