Re: How to complete the download of files

1) On the trackerslist Github site, pick a list. I just go with "trackers_all.txt" usually. Once open, click raw button to get a copy-able list. Like such: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ngosang/trackerslist/master/trackers_all.txt Copy it all out to clipboard (CTRL+A to select it all, ...

Re: How to complete the download of files

Maybe there are no peers to seed the torrents to you fully? I mean, this is what it sounds so far.. oO

If its a public torrent, you can always add more trackers.

Re: How do I enable deleting files to recycle bin?

That post talks about waiting with the implementation. As you can see the ticket is still open, there has been no progress on the topic. The developer explained why it'd be problematic to implement. It'd add another bunch of code to the already huge codebase that someone would have to maintain again...

Re: Stopped working, all trackers show Permission Denied

And if you disable the proxy, does it work?
If you are worried about p2p laws, just add a Debian/Ubuntu ISO torrent and test with that (while pausing the rest).

- If you click Peers on the bottom, do you see a lot of people with 100%? (Ie.: Do people even have the 100%?)
- If you check Defender's "Protection History", do you see anything?

Re: Mac Constantly Crashing

Can you somehow check crashes on Mac? Kinda like how you can check a blue screen on Windows?

Re: Webui not working with dns name

That's super weird. The A record is just translated to an IP. So it should work, qBittorrent has nothing to do with that honestly.

It is safe. https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/6559 https://github.com/flathub/org.qbittorrent.qBittorrent As you can see, the developer is Chocobo1 who is a recognized, major and well-known developer of the team. Re: Freezing on 4.3.8 and 4.3.9

In the name of science, I have downloaded now ~110GB of data with ~80M/s speeds and auto cache. qBittorrent is sitting on 42mb of ram usage now (bit increased since auto and not hard or disabled cache.) The cache/ram usage of course went up during download. But the point is, the memory usage went ba...

Re: Freezing on 4.3.8 and 4.3.9

Yeah, but it should be reproducible.
So if I download ~2TB of data, I should be leaking left and right... but no... that's why I'm curious what's causing it

Re: How to complete the download of files

Well, how much are you missing? 90% of the time, it's Windows Defender that removes something from your download (a crack file, keygen, anything suspicious). The last 1% can happen when your storage is not stable (data loss imminent) or you have some other storage, OS, hardware problem. Of course if...

Re: Freezing on 4.3.8 and 4.3.9

I mean if it's the ram usage, that seems like an IO bottleneck. You can check actual ram usage with "rammap" from Sysinternals. RAID1 for writes is slow as hell. The only way to make it "livable" is by using a Raid controller with RAM cache. Without that, Windows will just use yo...

Re: Suggestion - Use ClamAV/ClamWin to scan torrents

On Linux you could execute a script after Download that'd check the downloaded folder with Clam, that'd work without any issue.

Re: WebUI login without password exploit

Hmm, that is extremely interesting... I am not sure about the exact changes since 4.3.5 but 4.3.9 has a LOT of security options for WebUI. You can try posting this over here as well: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues Though I am not sure if there is anything to investigate, minus the...

Re: Freezing on 4.3.8 and 4.3.9

What kind of firewall/security software you guys are using? What processor/setup? Any third-party stuff? Do you use RAID? (Ie.: AMD Raid is not supported on 11 atm. But Storage Spaces is, and qBittorrent works superb with Storage Spaces on 11, I tested it.) Are you running 11 on supported hardware? ...
