Re: Size and completed.

Apparently size column is total size "of what you picked to download" which is 100% complete. Mine no longer lists completed since I just use the Done % column.

Re: per torrent limiting doesn't work

That is interesting, maybe there was a built in lowest connection limit, if set lower than that it just ignores?

Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.[0-10]/3.2.0alpha

This happened twice to me, freezing qB, with 3.1.10 64bit. It must be very rare however like it happened once a week when running 24/7. I was never at the computer when it happened either just when I would go to check it it doesn't open from the taskbar, then system info before I force close shows 2...

Re: per torrent limiting doesn't work

Well, since you didn't answer my question directly I'll try a different tack. On the connection tab mine is setup this way top to bottom, 500 150 8 4 Are you saying yours is setup similar to this, except in your example the second number from the top is 4 but is still getting 200 peers/seeds? I'm st...

Re: per torrent limiting doesn't work

Connections per torrent or upload slots per torrent? I hope you were just giving an example by saying 4 connections per torrent, but if actually set this is way too low to get anything done per torrent.

Re: Torrents doesn't start

It might be that you didn't follow the directions from the private tracker... or you don't know how to properly seed, all the ones that I know of you have to create the torrent with the tracker address they specify then you upload that torrent file so it knows what it is, etc... and for others to ge...

It may have just "crashed" ungracefully... does it continue to happen, repeatable every time you close?

Re: [poll]Stop supporting Windows XP?

The 64bit version IS being maintained, or compiled more accurately, "more or less" there may not be a 3.1.11 however I disagree with you in that it has the same bugs and limitations as the 32bit version. For me, on Windows 7 64 only the 64bit version works without error. Last time I tried the offici...

Re: Max upload slots

So don't set a limit, therefore unlimited... I fail to see the problem.
However, if you need the ability to limit per torrent or globally the option is available.

Re: [poll]Stop supporting Windows XP?

A 32bit version could be kept for compatibility reasons just for the fact that 32 will run on a 64 system but not the other way around, but I'm pretty sure 32bit will be and or already is history, they will be the ones needing to compile their own from source. Also, to add, I don't even think you ca...

Re: warning_Qbittorrent.txt

I just saw this message from Kickass torrents, one of their "sponsored links" so it may have been some ignorant clicking going on installed something you didn't want from a site that is less than desirable in the first place, especially if you're not careful. It just was text in the browser not a po...

Re: Failed hard drive

I think they seeing that it's just mp3's sees it as trivial data, and you having to pay good money to recover trivial data doesn't make sense. Then there is probably legal reasoning behind it too. But if it is just downloaded mp3's why wouldn't you "just" redownload them rather than paying (usually ...

I don't know if this helps at all, but is it possible it's seeing the wifi connection before the wired connection? As you haven't disabled wireless in same way before plugging in, or does it automatically do so when there's a wired connection?

Re: Is it possible to change the header ? How to know which port a peer is using ?

I'm curious then, when you used to add their peer addresses did it used to connect back to the peer and continue uploading/downloading, or whatever it needed? Also, what would have caused them to disappear from the list and not reappear after a certain interval... like if they had shut down their co...
