Re: Windows interference

My system running with Ryzen 3900x has no stutters or whatsoever. My mate using Ryzen 5 3600 has also no problems either. We are both very active (heavy) users. Maxing our speed for downloading or uploading if needed without problems. I can't reproduce or confirm this issue with any version of qBitt...

Never in my years of torrenting adventure I have heard such a thing to be honest.

Re: not digitally signed 4.2.5 64bit

Yes, Windows Defender (I hate using any AV to be honest..) has also made this warning. But I know its all clean and well, installed and using it no problem.

Maybe I will open an issue at Github to bring it to attention if more users report this.

Re: Settings for high upload

It depends on a few factors like for example other users internet speed to receive such a high upload speed. Also the (high) numbers of seeds available. Maxing it continously could be hard with these circumstances.

Are they active torrents that you would want to seed/upload?

Re: windows defender flags qbittorrent temp files as malware when program starts

Its false.

Go to Fosshub download page to see that it is clean out of 0/15 virus scanners.

Closing this thread as it has no purpose or whatsoever.

Re: Suddenly download speed dropped significantly after upgrading to Win 10 Home

Welcome,

Remove v4.2.3 and install v4.2.4. This issue should be fixed after that. There was not something working right within the cache system of v4.2.3 (libtorrent issue).

Driver issue on your side:

Nothing related to qBittorrent.

Re: Set which browser to open links in "comment"

He is shocked, that you didn't found this settings.
- Settings
- Advanced
- Save path history length
— this controls how many recent paths qBittorrent will remember
- 33
- Profit!
Regards
Thanks for the share kentauros.

Re: # column missing in windows version

If you disable queue the # column will be gone. If you enable queue the # column comes back. So it probably has something to do with the queue system.
