Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.6/3.1.0alpha

So now I got a lot of "Overlapped I/O operatation". What happened was, I marked several files with in a "multi file" Torrent to be downloaded (was earlier marked " do not download"). First I thought, that it was just 1 one file. But after a while several of the new files get this error. The only way...

Re: Lack of firewall exception when installing

version 3.06 and 3.1.x.Alfa does make the firewall exceptions, but... The "Edge Transversal" function is broke in some way. Default behaviour for Windows is to make the function "Defer to application", but this setting doesn't work with qBittorrent. If I change the setting "Allow edge transversal" e...

I agree with the speed improvement observations (UDP?).

Okay, thanks!!

I didn't mean to start a war because on this, so my pardon if anybody got offended.
I am looking forward to sledgehammer's release, though.

But still, I hoped that a ("unstable") release would have pop-upped somewhere.
Any chance for that to happen?

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support

Of cause Chris is right, but... Why not release the current code (which I am sure is improved after the 3.0.6 release) call it 3.0.7 with the new libtorrent version? Maybe some issues are not closed, but still the new build would be an improvement. But since it is not my my project it is not my call...

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support

Well, my idea were more like:
{Old_Code} + {New_libtorrent} = {New_version}

Assuming the new build would inherit the improvements from the new libtorrent?

Re: qBittorrent 3.0.6 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support

Just wondering, why don't we have a build with "libtorrent 0.16.5" (yet  ;)  )

It would be interesting to see the improvements made in UDP connections.

Re: Can qBittorrent resume an incompletely downloaded uTorrent download?

Most likely a permission issue!
Right click the files and add yourself as a user with "Full Control".

This is one of the annoying things about qTorrent and changing Torrent program.

Re: 3.0.6 Stalling

You are right in you observations, clearly his port is not open for incoming connections (the yellow icon in the bottom of the picture). So the stalling in this case is most likely due to not receiving torrent properties for other users. I still have the stalling due to disk access. Is it possible t...

Re: v3.0.5: Force Reannounce not working?

I can confirm this.

If you right click on the tracker name on the tracker tab you can force an announce though.
But right clicking the torrent and choose announce doesn't work.
