Hi,
Not tested by myself but indeed I read post about simply reinstall 4.3.9 over an existing 4.4.0 version. I would suggest a backup first to get rid of any issue quickly.
The version 4.4.1 is not out yet so hard to tell but expected this way.

Re: Can't receive latest version
Hi,
Ubuntu 18.04 is no more supported https://www.qbittorrent.org/news.php (Wednesday March 24th 2021)
Depending of your installation you may have other options but quiet possible the PPA has nothing more to offer

Re: moving torrents WITH their paths to a new drive
I'm in the same boat. Just want to change save paths from \\nas1\audio --> \\nas2\audio. I can't use Set Location because there's no way you can do it in bulk and have it copy the subfolders they are in. I came across this but haven't tried it yet. https://github.com/jslay88/qbt_migrate Maybe it wo...

Re: moving torrents WITH their paths to a new drive
Hi, With QBT directly nothing I know. But here is what I did in the past: - pause all torrents in QBT - stop QBT, be sure the process is no more running (task manager too) - copy the d: drive to the g: drive including permission (robocopy /mir /sec for example or any similar tool) - swap the drive l...

Re: Speed drops to 0 at Regular Intervals
Hi, what' your QBT version? May be something related to 4.4.0 but nothing shows up recently related to such. I'll so consider the lack of bug and consider 2 options: - Enough seeders for this torrent? The speed is around 10MB/s at best so except if you put a limit on the D/L speed, it's not much - D...

Re: Qbittorrent 4.4 changes on torrent menu options
Hi, I posted something similar elsewhere, but haven't migrated yet to test: I think the double click on a torrent can now be assigned to "torrent option". This may leads you to this option with a shortened path. May you please feedback? EDIT: It was simply in the changelog (trying to find ...

Re: Disk cache & Disk cache expiry interval options removed @v4.4.0?
Hi, These options are deprecated in Libtorrent 2.X. In short QBT doesn't use cache on it's own with the new libtorrent version but relies on OS cache, smarter way to day it (tell us :D ) http://libtorrent.org/upgrade_to_2.0-ref.html cache_size The cache_size setting is no longer used. The caching of...

Re: CATGORY and LOCATION options in context menu (4.4.0)
I use "location" for almost all torrents, keeping a SAMBA share organised, so joining.
Not yet updated on my side, but I think I read "Torrent Options" can now be assigned as action when double clicking on a torrent.
Does it helps?

Re: Import created torents into QB
if the force-recheck does not end with a complete status the hash check failed and files are not recognized So either the .torrent loaded is not the good one or the files are the wrong ones. Or the path and/or content (see torrent>content tab) are wrong The .torrent is a hash of files, names, tree st...

Re: Import created torents into QB
Hi,
Add the .torrent file as paused, change the path to file if needed, and do a force recheck (right click on it)
If the .torrent match the hash of the media file it will turns to "complete" status, and you can resume it for seeding

Hi,
Add the column "Added ON" and you will get the date you added the torrent to QBT

Re: how safe is it to downgrade
With different user profiles it may work (installed under a different user) but I've not tested.
