Re: VPN PIA Private Internet Access
is not sock5 safer? It's pretty much the same. SOCKS is useful because you don't have to push EVERY traffic through. Like you can still play games, listen to music on Spotify and whatever, because it will just use your normal internet. VPN will make ALL your traffic go through a remote server, and ...

Perfect for daily use, but most private trackers don't allow it. That's the only reason I keep the old one around.

Re: RSS Downloader Guide
Every RSS is specific.
If you have an issue (e.g.: your client won't download items that it should download), share your settings with us, and we will help.
If you use a private tracker's RSS, don't forget to hide your passkey if it can be seen on the image.

Re: VPN PIA Private Internet Access
If you use a VPN, just connect to VPN and well, use qBittorrent normally.
If you use a SOCKS5 proxy, go into qBittorrent settings, and set the proxy under "Connection".

Maybe the image you use have something mixed up.

Re: Seemingly unnecessary activity
This happens to me with huge swarms.
Client does not matter, torrent size does not matter, nothing.
Just the swarm size.
If it's huge, then even if I have a miniscule upload/download speed set, my internet will just die.
What kind of swarm you are connecting to? Small ones?

What you're doing is truly amazing!
I just have a slight hitch.
Here, it seems to work fine until 419/2768 then I get this...

If the said "Tower" is already filtered... why don't you just use the following line in "must contain"? .* . = any char * = repetition (zero or more) https://www.hscripts.com/tutorials/regular-expression/metacharacter-list.php (Use "Apply rule to feed" to limit it to yo...

@Muzak: Download "Microsoft Sysinternals". You can find the "vmmap.exe", "rammap.exe" and "Procexp.exe" Check qBittorrent after such, and see how it actually eats up memory. For example, vmmap with Dropbox: http://a.pomf.se/ocbemr.jpg qBittorrent: http://a.pom...

Re: Failure in Installing on Ubuntu
You are right, if you have the tools. (It's not like there is anything wrong with dpkg, just a heads up for people:) The point in pbuilder by the way, is that you don't have to install the dependencies, compilers, etc. It creates a chrooted environment, which will just build your stuff, and your sys...

Re: Failure in Installing on Ubuntu
If you are on Debian/Ubuntu, you can use "dget". Just copy the .dsc link from the site For example: "dget -x -u http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libt/libtorrent-rasterbar/libtorrent-rasterbar_0.16.18-1.dsc" And it will download the source files, patch them with Debian's ...

That's because you seed.
But yeah, uTorrent shows them like this:
0 (12)
0 (90)
0 (23)
Well, this is purely cosmetic stuff.
You could make a ticket on Github and see what Sledge thinks about it.

The latest is the git version, but that's not whitelisted on most private trackers.
If you live on the edge... why don't you use Gentoo ~testing, or Fedora Rawhide, or Debian Experimental then?
